I edited this VERY quickly. So there may be some weird mistakes 😂 There may be some surprises. I hope not but, just be prepared in case 😂😂😂 Happy Harloween guys! I love you and appreciate you all!!

  • @michhaynes7272

The thing is that the person who did, Jackie, is highly unlikely to act like a bad person in front of the parents so that doesn't mean anything to me. Im glad she went to prison because I have no doubt it was her in my opinion.

  • @saritacruz3020

I remember growing up in the 80s/90s and being told at school not to play in or around old appliances and thinking that it was weird because I'd never seen random appliances laying around, but hopefully that message reached some kids that needed to hear it.

  • @Catsss1017

It never even crossed my mind why babies didn’t share the air. people are weird

  • @maryjocassell48

Omg my oldest had night terrors and would wake up screaming every single night multiple times a night, it was insane and the reason we have an almost 10 year gap between our kids! It didn’t stop until she was 8, there was no ignoring it, it sounded like she was being murdered everytime and once we woke up to her teetering over the stairs as she was screaming in her sleep. It was terrifying and one of the reasons we never went with cry it out!

  • @Muse33

35:03 😂 do not pass go, go to jail. Love you Steph

  • @laurad8035

I have a sneaking suspicion that Jackie’s 3-yr old would have at some point disappeared into a Frigidaire…

  • @DannyWallsPratt

I expect Tina figured her sister was just going to sleep if she even thought about it. And I doubt Tina even knew she was drawn to the air. Most likely she could see light and was looking for help

  • @missyjenkinsminnix845

Ophra Winfrey socks! Child trafficker allegedly 😢

  • @Briar_

I had the SAME experience with trying cry it out. Could not do it!!! My two year old is just like your Bella! And still sucks at sleeping and I've just accepted it and we co sleep hahaha 😂

  • @laughingcorrpseholly4136

One thing I love about Stephanie is how passionate she is about kids ❤ i am as well. I remember before I got pregnant with my son I didn’t want kids. I honestly wasn’t really fond of kids at all if I’m being honest. Only kid I ever liked was my niece 😅 but when I got pregnant with my son. That all changed. I became very motherly and my instincts just kicked in. I was very protective of my son (still am) but it actually got out of hand how protective I was of him that I wound up getting PPD. I would purposely not sleep at night and stay up and make sure my son was okay and breathing in his bassinet. I didn’t want anyone around him other than my husband, my grandmother, my dad and mom. Anyone else I would literally get very agitated with. I didn’t want to bring him anywhere because I absolutely hated it when random people would come up cooing at him and want to hold him or pinch his cheeks. I was especially paranoid about SIDS. I wound up seeing my ObGYn and she put me on medication and it helped a little bit but not much. I honestly didn’t breathe or start to feel less paranoid was when he turned 10 months and I was less worried about SIDS.

  • @kathymccarthy5264

It's crazy to me that the girl said who did it and they disregarded it–

  • @irenestrmnss4496

SEEMS LIKE MANY GROWNUPS TENDS TO NOT BELIEVE WHAT VERY YOUNG CHILDRENS SAY. LIKE AS IF KIDS JUST LIES ALL THE TIME, OR IT S ONLY THEIR IMAGINATION OR FANTACY.
USUALLY SMALL KIDS ARE VERY TRUTHFUL. THEY CAN REMBEMBER VERY WELL TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCES.
IT S JUST VERY IMPORTANT YOU KNOW HOW TO INTERVIEW THEM OR WHAT QUESTIONS TO ASK. NOT LEAD THEM, BUT LET THEM TALK IN A SAFE ENVIROMENT, MAYBE ON YOUR LAP.
THE CHILD NEEDS A CONFIDENT, SAFE CARING PERSON THEY FEEL SAFE TALKING TO.
LIKE THAT POLICE DID NOT PAY ANY ATTENTION TO WHAT THE 3 YEAR OLD SAID. NOT UNDERSTANDING CHILDRENS DEVELOPMENT AND PERSONALITY.
I AM A PREESCHOOL TEACHER AND MOTHER OF 3.

  • @irenestrmnss4496

FRIGDE IS VERY DANGEROUS FOR SMALL KIDS. !!!! NO OXYG AFTER VERY SHORT TIME

  • @Witch_Bitch86

Jesse has NO business having children. Womens rights and all but fight me. Ppl who harm children should be spayed and neutered.

  • @Witch_Bitch86

    These poor babies…

  • @TiffanyEllaMichelle

My kid is 3 and would know to "share air" She would've just felt relief and went with it.

  • @joBearCreekYoungblood

They’re speculating that they drank because they’re native because everyone stereotypes us alcoholics

  • @noraclemons6537

You're earlier episodes are really good and we'll researched. It is great seeing how your confidence has strengthen as you grew. Thank you for giving us the most honest and accurate information you can obtain. Your hard work is evident in this.

  • @alexbuchholz7072

Maybe the parents killed the girl and used the babysitter as an excuse and they hired her for that reason?

  • @nikkmarie6364

My daughter was 3.5yo when she got bit in the face by a babysitters dog and she still remembers it now (almost 9). I believe if it’s traumatic enough she probably would remember? But I guess it’s hard to know.

  • @charlesmartinjr3971

"The police didn't think that they were really connected at all." Sometimes I wonder why experts overlook the most obvious things. . . .

  • @davidbarnes1439

she always sounds like her nose is stuffed up

  • @sarahallen1013

Where would the world be without Stephanie harlowe crime weekly or harloween? I don’t wanna imagine it.

  • @darlaann1610

I'm years late watching this but I'm almost 60 years old and remember so many things back when I was 2 years old. I was talking well at 1 year old.

  • @jeanerickson3865

Stephanie I just discovered your site, your amazing, It’s not only a story with facts but your fresh insight and encouraging words toward the families, giving all of us what we most often forget the pain that continues all their lives from their tragedy.

  • @lysdawn1378

I don’t want to victim blame but I question the parents allowing her in their daughter’s life. Part of my wonders if they just didn’t want to be parents anymore. 😢 I truly hope that’s not the case.

  • @Poutnicek

I know this is kind off topic, but what you said about parents not being perfect really calmed me, somehow. I am preparing to be a parent myself, and I am terrified I'll make mistakes. Listening to true crime where parents have made a mistake and it affected the child negatively doesn't help my paranoia. But I suppose that most people, if they make a small mistake on their parenting journey, don't end up on the news and it can be fixed. This is all to say: Thank you for your compassionate and honest narrative in these videos. I come back to not only hear the main story, but also because you pepper in your own experiences and I often leave feeling like I have gained some bonus insight into the mess that is life. ♥

  • @PaNaMaMa1981

Hopefully there is only one Oprah and one Bill Gates. We don't need anymore of those kind of monsters. There are enough of those powerful dem0ns walking around already.

  • @gachaluna2708

Actually when it's something that traumatic that happens even if you were 3 years old there is a very high possibility that you could remember it. I was abused at a very young age and I still to this day remember it clearly and I'm 41 years old

  • @kelseytowne5167

I have several memories from very early on with rather vivid detail too, have even confirmed them with my mom, 18 months is the first and several others not long after that. It's not impossible to retain memories from that early, especially if it was awfully traumatic or a core memory type.

  • @maryjocassell48

Jackie in my opinion was a burgeoning serial killer, whether or not she was a teenaged girl.

  • @jacquelynskye295

Yes, we remember events when we were three and even younger! Young children have brains too and our brains works the same when we're young children.

  • @jacquelynskye295

OMG! I just heard the part about the man and his wife who witnessed the crime and said nothing. WTH. That is not a sign of the times. 1970s didn't make any difference about how people reacted to such scenes. It's about the specific people involved, not the decade the crimes occured. Sorry couple of idiots who ignored the obvious.

  • @jacquelynskye295

Baby sitting jobs, again? Why couldn't the police analyze the bite marks and compare to the suspicious bite marks on the twins' bodies? I can't beleive the parents of the little girl hired that deranged person to baby sit their child. SMH.

  • @aubreywebb9556

Just wanted to say how much I enjoy all your vids, please know we all appreciate all the hard work you put in. Thanks Stephanie please keep up the great vids 🐱☺️🐱

  • @caityosterman7412

I’m trying really really hard to NOT judge the parents for letting Jackie babysit after knowing what she was accused of. I could never 😢😢😢

  • @Amanda-rh7ft

Had to pause to come to say, I can indeed say that kids DO remember when something traumatic has happened, even around 3.

When I was 4, I got bit in the face by a dalmatian. And I can tell you from photographic memory what happened from 30 seconds before the dog bit me, until 4 hours later when I was having emergency plastic surgery to repair the hole in my cheek.

I remember why the dog bit me, I remember getting bit and feeling like a pinch. I remember watching the color drain from my baby sitters face when I turned to tell her the dog bit me. I remember seeing the blood on my hand and then when it started dripping down onto my pink shirt and thinking I was going to die. I remember asking my mom and God mother on the way to the hospital if I was going to die and my mom crying. I remember being at the hospital and being told there wasn't much they could do without me ending up with a giant scar. I remember being transported to a hospital that did plastic surgery, and being strapped to a surgical bed (head, arms, feet) and being awake with a sheet over my face while they carefully sewed my cheek back together.

Traumatic stuff does leave an imprint. And I believe this girl probably remembered every single moment of that ordeal.
