I totally agree with not going to the circus and petting zoos and stuff like that. Though there are some zoos that rescue injured animals or abandoned baby animals and raise them in captivity. Those animals cannot be put into the wild, they would die because they are domesticated. I hate people treating animals like shit, though I do know there are some good zoos and animal displays. Places where they truly care.

My son HATED the zoo. At three, he wanted to free all the animals and cried because they were in cages. He is definitely his mother’s son, I feel the same way!

There are a lot of those animals were rescued from individuals that illegally bought them and then could not take care of them. now those animals can’t return to the wild because they can’t care for themselves. Or some of them were injured in the wild and were rehab but for some reason they can’t return to the wild. Not all zoos and petting zoos are bad. Some do a lot of great education. Zoos are trying to stop extinction of some species because of people killing them for game or to make money off of their parts. Please read up on some of the zoos and what they do with the money the zoos bring. Not all of them are bad there are a lot of animal lovers that work for zoos..

The tortoise most likely wanted to go explore. Any tortoise, especially one that size, will try to push through any barrier they think they can. His shell and body condition indicate excellent care. I know it probably won't be an overly popular opinion but I don't think he was overly stressed. He wouldn't have come out of his shell and been wandering like he was or would have been ramming the fence if he was scared. I don't say this as a keyboard warrior, I actually have 5 sulcatas (the one in the video is either a sulcata or desert tortoise) and they make it clear when they are unhappy. I will say they could and should have done a better job about walling in the lower portion of his pen just because he could have gotten his head stuck it looked like.

Dude on the street, she was walking along video taping her walk, you just happened to be on the street as she was walking by. Don't actually flatter yourself, you had a few paint cans that you were taping on. It wasn't in tune, and it wasn't anything even remotely special. I'm betting you've missed out on quite a bit of money by acting like an entitled prick. So bravo!! 👏 👏

I have recently discovered that traveling with my daughter is so much fun. Shes 17. And we have a ball together. But when i was a kid my parents took us on vacation, but once a year they took a week vacation on their own. They always had a great time just not having to worry about what someone else wants.

Oh, those poor animals! I get such anxiety watching stuff like that. Seriously, I can’t watch those commercials on animal abuse. I’m getting sick just thinking about it. Ugh! How can people live with themselves?
Really loved this vlog! (Except for petting zoo 😢). Fall is my season and Halloween is my favorite holiday! My son just turned 7 and he’s at the perfect age for all the excitement. I can’t wait!
