WTH!! How could police not be able to get a search warrant for his apartment when he was the last person to see the missing girl alive, and they had her on video going into his apartment, but never coming out?? Seems like that should be enough for a search warrant!! 😔

I read about this case a lot, glad I found your coverage. I understand why she wouldn’t know what was on his hard drive. He worked in IT and they said he had quite a few laying around that weren’t even in computers. If that was the case I understand why she wasn’t super interested in his business doings. I work in IT and sometimes people have hard drives and computer parts just sitting around forever.

Let's see, your question was "how did a casual evening turn into something so tragic" Answer is to any rational person- B-D-S-M . It is and has always been a high risk activity, and every adult knows this. It is far too easy for a 200 lbs guy to choke the life out of some 125 lbs girl (or guy) who voluntarily places his/her neck into the hands of the 200 lbs guy and invites him to squeeze hard. Are you kidding? I just cannot understand why ANY woman (or man but I'm not a guy) would want to do this since it is so PAINFUL, harmful, degrading, humiliating, AND highly risky.

I have seen this case covered by another channel a few years ago and I have to say, @annieelise , the way you tell us these stories are so superior to anyone I've listened to/watched because you have a gift of painting a picture with such detail and that it seems like a completely different story than ive seen before. Ive been wanting to start my own content on True crime because that's all that interests me and im a citizen detective for sure..but i have been putting it off because i can't even get in the same ballpark as you but im learning every day. I think he happened to switch his Sim card and it had the set offender child born in it. Like it wasn't his and he was trying to cover murder and got screwed most serial offenders have a type and his was kinky set that made him God playing with their life's. Ok, so a young woman is missing and she's seen ALIVE … on surveillance cameras… entering this bougie apartment building…WITH this man…WHO SAYS in his statement during initial questioning that she had left his apartment the following morning around 9am…but the cameras PROVE that is in FACT not true… giving false information in his statement involving a very time sensitive missing/possibly murdered person's investigation… while ALSO being the last known person to see her alive…DOESN'T QUALIFY AS ENOUGH FOR A GD WARRANT,

Beyond more than enough to grant a mf home run of a warrant. The DA's office will literally approve the most unlawful and unnecessary warrants, at 3 o'clock in the morning…for anything and everything that benefits them in anyway but this? IKYFL because not immediately searching every inch of that apartment, SIMPLY based on it being her last known whereabouts… even BEFORE he's caught in lies and evidence proves she's never seen leaving…is absolutely fkng crazy 🤡 If you could only imagine how many people weren't saved in time and killed, or their disappearances/murders never ever solved solely from authorities dropping the fking ball… from 100% giving zero fcks would throw yall into immediate strokes. I'm sure the number I'm remotely thinking of is astronomically way under estimated 😔

This was a wild story!!! I'm so glad he ended up being charged and arrested for this murder.
I was married to someone who became a drug kingpin behind my back and had an entirely different life.
He ended up getting 14 felonies and going to prison.
It's crazy what people are capable of and able to lie to their partner on such a devastating level.
I can't trust anymore because of that monster.
