My Paternal Grandfather & Grandmother had 21 child births only 17 survived. The last 1 that survived was my Aunt & even Gma knew she was mentally unstable so Gma allowed her to have only 1 kid & was given the right to have my Aunt's tubed tied. My Gma ended up raising the 1 she was asked to get pregnant with as Gma knew she would need a life time of help. Gma was right as my Daddy was a self-employed carpenter/painter. Daddy's business boomed for awhile & i do remember in the front duplex my Aunt was given the place to rent in the very cheap as we lived in the back house of the duplexes And Daddy could keep an eye on her. My Daddy spent his whole life making sure she was alright. Daddy's passed away in 2015 & I'm not sure who is watching her now ?? I do believe my cousin her daughter is keeping an eye on her. Yes I so DO miss

As a nurse for 47 yrs. Wonder if her Doctor was aware ? They both should have been court order to sterilize both parents
