As a highly skilled crime investigator, I meticulously examined the transcript of the suspect’s interrogation, searching for any minute details that could potentially lead to a breakthrough in the case. On the overflow of the tub issue, they have a drain hole behind that round cap under the faucet so that the tub will not overflow but drain at that round cap with a drain overflow opening under it. I hope you know what I am talking about!

I think the bathtub can be explained if there is an overflow drain which keeps the water from over flowing and sends the excess water to the drain pipe

I feel do sad for this woman. Abusers don't abuse everyone in their life.
My ex nealry killed me twice. What started his rage? The first time because i answered the door when his cousin kncoked and he wasn't home. apparently there was a rule I didn't know about what you weren't supposed to open the door when any men came if your boyfriend was at home.
The second time he nealry killed me it was because i asked him why he didnt come to his daughter's xmas concert and where he was until 3am. His 12 year old daughter saved me.
People used to tell me how lucky i was to have him.
He was very charming. Thats how it goes. .once when he forgot not to keavw visibke bruises and i had some all over my face and neck his mother ended up accidentally seeing them. He lied and made up a story and guess who she stood by? He said i tried to srop him from driving. She blamed me . She was a social worker. The truth was i had spoke to anothrr male at college who wss in my class. About school. But i wasnt allowed to speak to other men.
I got beat for that my hair ripped out in chunks. Thrown out of a moving vehcile. 😞
No one would have known what was going on
I later found out he had done thid to othrr girlfriends as well.
Oh and he proposed to me with a $8000 engagement ring too, That was 2 weeks before he tried to kill me. Choking me.

So why aren’t we supposed to consider Chris family didn’t really know him but not consider Nicki was a cold blooded murderer.
And about the laptop in the shower… she said she just came out the shower and he attacked her then told her to lay on top of him before falling asleep. Clearly she put the laptop in the shower to cover her track. And how is the username even connected to Chris. And how she knew where to search to find the videos. Come on we ain’t stupid.

If he hadn’t been doing all those things wouldn’t he have left, like this girl is crazy, she’s trying to get me locked up. Or did the laptops have proof that he was not committing the crimes he was accused of and she wanted to get rid of them?

As a victim myself, listening to the story. He DEFINITELY ABUSED HER. It was self defense. UPDATE SHES FREE! W HER KIDS

What you described in the beginning os not a battered woman, we have worked with many, and the story you laid out is what is heard from women making stuff up for attention and not what women who are really battered say.
In fact we cery often find that investigation of storys like that usually end up finding the woman to be the abusive member and the children neglected by the mother.
A man willing to sa his wife usually would never wait 2 weeks after pregnancy let alone the suggested 6 weeks
As a working counselor that little aspect makes a huge difference.

Annie, bathtubs have an overflow drain. The water can run for days, wouldn't matter!
She shouldn't even have had to go to trial, she should have been believed.
Absolute travesty of justice. But that is normal when it comes to women victims of DV.

I love you channel but I always feel like you side with the females no matter if they are a true victim or not. There are A LOT of what ifs that we do not know and can never be 100% sure of. But the judge is right we don’t know the situation and can’t know if Chris’s NEEDED to die that night. Am I saying she was never assaulted? No but this could 100% be she just snapped 1 night and saw him sleeping and killed him. You just seem to always side with the female when there’s a male counterpart no matter what

This whole case is major victim blaming! She's been a victim her entire life, which makes every choice tainted by trauma. Even the prosecutor asked why she didn't just leave? Of course that is what most of us would do, but most of us have not been repeatedly traumatized since childhood! She was again tramatized by the court system. Chris was right – she wouldn't be believed, and she'd be blamed.

She was released in January thank God! His mother should be disgusted at thinking her child could do no wrong. I'm a mother of 5 and I teach my children right is right and wrong is wrong blood or not.

This is so disgusting. I cannot believe it. Even people at the gym were concerned… THEY called CPS. She would’ve been killed if she left. But if she would’ve been killed, they’d believe her. Ridiculous & sick. I didn’t hear a THING about a story change. Even if he was asleep, WHO COULD BLAME HER? There’s no way she is THAT good of an actor. Nobody but her knows what happened behind closed doors. Why would anyone want to report their own experiences if they’re not believed??

I don’t believe her self-defense claim. The gunshot was a contact wound, which means the barrel was pressed against his head. She shot him in his sleep. Should've gotten life.

She should have never been charged. Everybody failed her. Only positive update I’ve found is that she has been released January 4, 2024 and has been reunited with her two kids.

I think everything happened to her. There is sp much proof that it did. As a woman who has survived multiple SA's i believe her. The only thing i think that happened differently then she is saying is what happened after she tried to get up. I think what he said to her about killing her was said b4 he fell asleep and she knew he was going to follow the son so she killed him. And in my opinion GOOD FOR HER!!! either way i think the villion is gone and she will survive all of this and hopefully be a stronger person when released!

You’re assuming that the stopper is in the drain I thought she meant like the laptop was sitting in the tub and the water was running on it being merge and water
