I think you missed something regarding Wendi's post bump evidence.
Wendi states that she only found out about her family being extorted the day of Charlies trial ( 8 years post bump ), which is absolutely absurd.
Law enforcement now have Donna and Harveys phone as well as Charlies, all they need is a whiff of any knowledge that Wendi's family sent her info
regarding the bump "extortion" to further derail Wendi's already waning credibilty.
As far as Wendi's obvious involvement, i believe Sigfredo has the goods as well as Katie.

I found it interesting that Sig. didn't show up to testify at Katie's trial when he was legally requested to be there.

the only reason Katie wants to talk to Garcia is to make sure he does not tell the state the entire truth about her involvement. Katie only wants to save herself and her reputation.
