As a meticulous crime investigator with a keen eye for detail, I carefully analyzed the transcript of the interrogation. The suspect’s responses were evasive and inconsistent, suggesting a deliberate attempt to mislead authorities. This behavior is characteristic of individuals involved in financial fraud schemes, a type of crime that has been on the rise in recent years.

During the questioning, the suspect hesitated and stumbled over their words when pressed for specific details about their whereabouts on the night of the incident. This lack of transparency raised red flags and further solidified my belief that this individual may have been involved in the embezzlement of funds from the company.

Moreover, the suspect’s body language indicated signs of nervousness, such as fidgeting and avoiding direct eye contact. These nonverbal cues, combined with their elusive responses, pointed towards a guilty conscience. As a seasoned investigator, I remain committed to uncovering the truth behind this intricate financial crime and bringing the perpetrators to justice.

Saying "weed studies" is insane. Pharmaceutical companies & alcohol cause more deaths. You can't overdose or die from weed. Kids kill every day with guns, knives, cars, poisons, & more. Another fact is ….The brain continues to develop and mature into the mid-to-late 20s, and different parts of the brain mature at different rates. For example, the prefrontal cortex, the rational part of the brain behind the forehead, may not be fully developed until age 24 or 25. In contrast, the amygdala, a walnut-shaped part of the brain, may mature much earlier. Some neuroscientists believe that this mismatch in brain maturity may explain some aspects of adolescent behavior.

I’m was shook when I heard this the dinner in the show is in my town pops dinner, well actually called rockos dinner, in mission British Columbia. I think it’s wilder when it’s a celebrity cuz you see them in shows or movies and even tho they are actors you kind feel like you know them too. Also in Canada you can still be interrogated without a lawyer even when you ask.

  • @kikimarie7897

Honestly, I’m sure most Canadians have the same thought about our PM. I’m not surprised about that one lol. His poor mom though 🙁

  • @sarahissersohn5495

I totally disagree that people stop being victims when they become perpetrators, although that would certainly be less difficult to sit with. But also, not exactly honest IMO. The really hard part is reconciling that somebody doesn’t have to be perfect, or even virtuous, to be a victim. They really can be both victim and perpetrator at the same time, and one does not negate the other, in either direction. Nuance and paradox are part of what makes us human, and the ability to accommodate paradox is a measure of an able mind. Doesn’t have to be easy; just doable.

Nickelodeon is what happens to these kids. And/or P Diddy. And/or NDAs. And/or toxic conservatorships.

Our justice system sucks as well as our Prime minister. I'm far from a violent person but that asshole is killing our country and it's people. He probably took a plea deal to get 2nd degree. Who really knows tho here in Canada. Not sure if you've ever heard of the documentary on youtube called Dear Zachary. Well worth a watch to see what the justice system did in that case. Appalling to say the least. Love your show Annie. I am an avid watcher catching up on all your videos. I've tried other channels but your, in my opinion, is the best. Keep up the great work ❤

  • @B.annsummers

It’s because Canada has the worse justice system, it’s awful

  • @lynndunn3244

I don't think you can understand that he said he wanted to SPARE his mother. The death penalty is beyond justice – it is killing another.

People advocate for mental health awareness yet when someone commits a crime while depressed for example, those same people want that person to get the max punishment. We will never have people come forward who feel like they could do something like murder because a message is being sent that even if you have mental issues, it won’t matter in the legal system. I’m not saying anyone with mental illness be given a free pass, but so many people comment about how they never expected a kid to shoot up a school for example and that’s the point-no one expected it so it was a behavior they hadn’t seen before yet the kid is then found perfectly sane (again, not saying school shooters get a pass either). People commit crimes BECAUSE they aren’t the same as non-criminals

Covid-19 really affected mid 20s young adults mentally ~

  • @dianasmith897

I heard an interesting comment while listening to the Hidden podcast, which I can’t help but apply here… They were discussing the Lindsay Clancy case, and a listener made a comment about our society having “selective compassion” when it comes to mental illness. I’m not defending this kid or what he did; I simply find it interesting how accurate that is, and am curious about the natural inclination to respond so differently to people who are clearly suffering and don’t seem able to delineate between fantasy and reality. This kid did not live in the same reality as the rest of us. He had delusions of grandeur, and it could even be argued that he killed his mother for what he believed were altruistic reasons. I just think it’s interesting, and wondered where exactly the boundary lies that causes us to feel revulsion towards some and immense compassion toward others.

  • @wynterblackwell3640

you say more and more of these. yes. why? Because the generation being parented with no real discipline with 'gentle parenting' is growing big enough to commit these. They are growing up with no real consequences with parents who dread to even say no because their little soul may get hurt. What did people expect where will that lead? And no I don't say kids need to be beaten. But they need real boundaries, they need 'no' and they need appropriate punishment when they misbehave so they grow up with a clear idea of right and wrong.
