Crime investigator delves into the intricacies of the ongoing case of actor Danny Masterson, convicted of sexually violating multiple women. The investigation uncovers a complex web involving Scientology, alleged cover-ups by the church, and connections to famous celebrities like Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis. The case also resurfaces a murder from the early 2000s, with suspicions raised about Ashton’s involvement.

The transcript reveals disturbing details about Masterson’s wife, Bijou Phillips, and her troubled family history, including allegations of incest and drug addiction. Phillips stands by her husband, painting him as an exceptional father and denying his crimes. However, the investigator questions the credibility of these character letters, as they seem to dismiss the experiences and trauma of Masterson’s victims.

The investigation highlights the complexity and controversy surrounding Scientology, with plans to explore the topic further in future episodes. As the case continues to unfold, the investigator invites feedback and suggestions for exploring other cults or religious organizations. The episode concludes with a call for justice and recognition for the survivors of Masterson’s crimes.

This situation is so complex and there’s so many layers involved. What do you make of it all?

  • @RobertEgbers

    His thetins looking real weak

  • @kmf7142

If Dannys Ex, the judge go missing , you know why. If danny "gets killed" in prison, he is with jeffrey epstien on an island somewhere with young girls

  • @kmf7142

They are so fake … we are sorry if we retraumatized the victims we didnt mean to undermine ? We just said he was an amazing person even though we know he isnt … not to undermine ir anything ugh

  • @fourfurrypotatoes

Scientology is the biggest and richest cult out there besides the Catholic church and other churches or cults. The leader is one of the worst psychopaths in the world in my opinion. Televangelists are evil as well.

  • @commonsense2680

I totally disagree with you that those letters "invalidate" the statements of the survivors. There are two sides to every story, and I can imagine that his friends want to believe in him and therefore are opining on their view of him only based on their personal experience. Why would anyone expect a friend of Masterson to send a scathing letter to the judge. I don't agree with the concept "you MUST immediately believe anyone who asserts they are a victim of sexual harassment regardless of evidence." This kind of turns jurisprudence on its head (you know due process). Since the jury found against him, I have to believe there was sufficient evidence in this case to support the victim's claim, but you and I both know of many juries that have gotten it wrong. So maybe his friends are giving him the benefit of the doubt. People always say they encourage honesty in society but looks like it is only encouraged if someone says things that are agreeable with you. It is a common practice for people to send judges character references of THEIR EXPERIENCE with their friend to plead for a lighter sentence, not overturn the sentence or question the verdict. Ashton and Milas wrote about their personal view of Masterson, nothing else. This is their experience with the man, why would they suddenly only see Masterson from the view of his victims.

  • @Vanness11

Such a detailed and amazing dive!! Now I’m going to go search for those Mila Kunis videos of her as a kid

  • @JeffreyGlover65

If you are sexually assaulted, you should file charges immediately, not 20 or 30 years later.

  • @susand4424

When it comes to celebrities, they have to do what they're told, when they don't, bad things happen. That coupled with the amount of women happy to be paid to tell lies about such celebs could lead to wrongful convictions. I have no idea what happened in this case but I'd tend to believe the guy in prison is innocent and the ones left on the outside are not…

  • @mk-ultrabutterfly5532

    Hi
I know that this is an older video, and I don't know if you will ever read this, but if you want to check out a really messed up CULT, THE ANTHILL GANG will twist your brain big time. As for scientology, Danny is not the only member who has done such things to women in this organization. I have been following what has been happening to him at each stop on his journey to prison. I feel horrible about what his wife child and family are going through. He is going to get beat to within an inch of his life and marked so that everywhere he goes, other inmates and going to know what he has done. He is going to eventually get a slash down each cheek so that the prison population will know he's a sex offender. His family are going to have to decide if they are going to want to pay rent for him to be able to ever walk the yard. He deserves what's coming. His family does not. I actually do feel sorry for him as I do not think that anyone should inflict violence on anyone else……..although, that is why he is where he is.

  • @denisebrown2238

I’ve followed about Scientology for years, this is an evil cult. SPTV is all about ex members from this cult it’s awful..

  • @MollyKuehl4790

You took the words right out of my mouth about that letter

  • @EJ1443

Now to be fair I can usually understand standing by your friend/relative if they were accused of something horrible. Despite what people say/think (especially celebrities) accusations or rumors are not the same thing as a fact or evidence. It is very self righteous and rude to say such things if you are not thinking logically.

    However in this case….

According to Growing up in Scientology channel, Ashton was a party boy. He partied with Danny, same with Wilmer Valderrama (Fez). There is no way he could not have known what Danny was doing or noticed odd things…. So no, in this particular case, he & Mila do not have an excuse. Except for the whole thing being a lot to process.

  • @trishaholder8616

Gross… 19 year old kissing a 14 year old in that show. Yuck!

  • @cynthiathompson1183

Crutcher sounds more sorrowful. She sounds like it wasn’t worth her taking time out of the day to make a statement. Just sorry her letters were made public and she got caught taking up for a @&;”/:. Get my drift?

  • @juneharris2018

"Chrissy's not being quiet anytime soon."
It's been 4 months. Where is she? What updates do we have on her allegations?
Ashton should have sued her ass. She should consider herself lucky that he hasn't by now. Perhaps she's received a cease and desist?

  • @juneharris2018

    SO…. About this Chrissy girl…
How do we know she's not full of 🐃 💩? The jury of her trial hung, because apparently she couldn't keep her story straight. I guess you failed to mention that.

  • @gennimae3710

Well if that want a great reading of a script Ashton and Mila just posted👏

  • @user-vg4fv5iy5j

This is Hollywood. Bunch of weirdos. Scientology is a by-product. These actors are natural peds

  • @user-vg4fv5iy5j

Honestly irrelevant. Who cares if Ashton is or not part of Scientology. He’s not the one with sexual crimes. Let’s focus Annie please your losing me.

  • @derithross8314

When did alcohol turn into candy and not a drug. Please they did drugs seems thats what scientology is holding over them. It always gets blamed. I miss my younger days and the drugs can't do them as u age only ones u need for your health.

  • @derithross8314

Even when he played on Roseanne Johnny Galeki had him beat in looks.

  • @derithross8314

It happened on Leah's show the stocking.

  • @derithross8314

Danny out of all the guys on the show would be the last you'd want to take a roll in the hay with. Really.

  • @derithross8314

The main one who started scientology L. Ron Hubbard was a Loon. Who'd follow that read one of his stupid books in the 80s. F-ing Loon. Oh maybe other loons like Travolta,Cruise neither one i really care for. And after what Leah Remini went thru with that I'd say im safe.

  • @SimbaRobyn

“The Danny we know is kind, a good friend, a good father, etc. It’s unimaginable to think we’re talking about the same person. With that being said, we are always on the victim’s side. We fully support finding the truth and for justice to be served”

What their letters should have said.

    And I’m not even a publicist! 😆

  • @JthadizZ

Huge red flag….. member of Scientology

  • @joannwilderman8921

    Interested, but be careful…

  • @gerisnede7307

Doesn’t seem right to put the carrot 🥕 out without the roots, so what plan, what damage, not to belittle any trauma but just showing the carrot is not right.

  • @rachelgodfrey3935

I feel like you would be unsafe if you delve into Scientology because of everything I've heard and seen what they do to people investigating them. So just please be safe if you go deep diving

  • @chrisludecke9310

Great video I’d love for you to go more into Scientology I got approached by 2 of them 3 yrs ago in aggressive fashion

  • @mikehoncho8004

I mean look at him! He wears earrings! Like a girl!

  • @worklessalvation

Mila Kunis was 16 when she started in the show… They all part of the Big Club

  • @Mr4bigt

Think about , GR & D JR also sending letters….
Think about it ..GR & D J R relationship onThe TV Show “ Friends”
It’s common practice …. In that town
    Fucked up…

  • @priscillarivera7680

Mila speaking an “apology” made me cringe😒🙄

  • @veronicaboyd3696

    Hi Annie,
Unfortunately I’m just seeing this program on 11/22/2923. However you have done your usual job of thoroughly covering this interesting topic by doing extensive research on related aspects of interest. You clearly put an enormous amount of time and energy into your presentations! Your channel is always informative and definitely worth watching! Thank you for all you do Annie 🙏👍🏻😻From a big fan and follower in California

  • @angelmolly454

Annie can you please do the case of Mitrice Richardson

  • @kpickle1684

I used to work with someone who appeared to be a nice guy and a good father turns out he was running a paedophile ring it was never publicly disclosed as of course the children were protected but when it came out articles stated he was sharing images and videos of 3 children. He had 3 children. Just because someone was nice to you or appeared a decent human being doesn’t mean they are. Monsters hide in plain sight

  • @barbaraszemerei1595

L Hubbard was an occultist. Scientology is just MKUltra crap. They prey on the traumatized and the entire program is designed to make you dissociate from your mind. Very evil.

  • @jessicahodges4174

Would love to see tht deep dive on scientology. Love your videos.❤

  • @CFIRST58

I hope you will continue telling us more about Scientology.. I learn so much more from each story you share. You always do such an amazing job sharing so many interesting and in-depth stories. You do this better than anyone else out there. I am definitely a fan and am happy to be a loyal subscriber.

  • @terarosen7909

According to sptv there are 12 women that have came forward. And it seems Ashton was at the parties where at least a couple of druggings took place. One claimed to been woken up by Ashton while in bed with Danny. He had an adjoining room. I just can’t believe Ashton to be innocent like some think

  • @terarosen7909

Mila says Danny is such a great guy but also says he made a bet with Ashton to slip her the tongue when she was 14. Id like to hear how this makes him a great guy.
