Just wanted to stop in the middle of the video before I forget, to respond to your question about whether or not we thought his mother was a good mom. It sounds like he may have been telling the truth about his mom. There are many moms and dads who are severely inconsistent, emotionally abusive and negligent until something sparks them to act. These parents can scapegoat their kids one day and champion them the next. They can be very detrimental and inconsistent and difficult to understand from an outsider's perspective. Check out mixed attachment style for example. Also I can also easily believe that his grandfather did what he said he did and that he had the same mixed and confused feelings as a very young child. That is pretty typical of children who are abused in that way from what I've read. Otherwise, most of your observations ring true to me. Keep on making this great content! I very much appreciate your channel!

I actually got dizzy from rolling my damn eyes!!!!

Dennis probably was sexually traumatized as a young child, if his sexual development is any indication. I'm not sure if I believe the assault story, but I think that at the least he probably saw others doing sexual things. It could've been as simple as walking in on his parents because that can be traumatizing. The most often reactions to such an incident are to be disgusted/confused, or be that one freak who is aroused. None of this excuses his actions at all and it's pure speculation based on patterns seen in familiar cases.

Dennis had no free will when he was child being abused by Grandpa so it makes sense he does not have a concept of real free will and trying to replicate his experiences of the abuse as a child. Really sad. Child abuse does cause brain damage and it’s obvious this man was severely damaged.

The human brain is fascinating. I’m so glad you are interested in the law AND psychological side of it. So interesting.

  • @Bliss31

I’ve ordered his book. I need more 😂

  • @Bliss31

I think his grandfather abused him, and he loved his grandfather, which maybe swayed his homosexual feelings.

Then imagine going through life straight, fancying boys, wanting a boyfriend, but everytime you showed interest, gave someone the eye, text someone in a flirty way….. you were made fun of. For years.

Desperate for connection with someone who you are attracted to, and being a bit psycho….. abused, let down, not allowed to be yourself, didn’t know your dad. Erm… doesn’t take a rocket scientist really

  • @Bliss31

    UK: Hen= female chicken= chick.

  • @Bliss31

Scary isn’t it… I always get a little stumped when my son asks me about death and heaven etc… I’m not religious but don’t want to be too harsh on him
I ended up telling him that when you get really really old you choose that you would like to go to heaven now, and then heaven will take you. I didn’t know what else to say to a 6 year old who asked me why his nan would die one day 😭😭 ugh. Parenthood 😩

I was just reading about pederasty in Ancient Greece, and it seems to be similar to what Dennis was talking about with his "feminine submissive" side. I feel like he was probably obsessed with this topic.

Edit: "The ancient Greeks did not conceive of sexual orientation as a social identity as modern Western societies have done. Greek society did not distinguish sexual desire or behavior by the gender of the participants, but rather by the role that each participant played in the sex act, that of active penetrator or passive penetrated.[7] Within the traditions of pederasty, active/passive polarization corresponded with dominant and submissive social roles: the active (penetrative) role was associated with masculinity, higher social status, and adulthood, while the passive role was associated with femininity, lower social status, and youth.[7]" From wikipedia page Homosexuality in Ancient Greece.

15:39 From a Norwegian; His father hadn’t fled from Norway and I don’t think the deal was that he didn’t want to be around, according to most sources he was still working with the Free Norwegian Forces. They were the ones who helped fight the German Nazis in Norway the most, and eventually made Norway a free country again. There was probably a shit ton to do if you’re working in one of the Free Norwegian Forces (it’s actually not a group, it’s several individual groups, that’s just the umbrella term for all of the groups working against the nazis) which was one of the most important things in Norway at the time. I read the English site about it on Wikipedia, there’s a lot of wrong things there or things that is different than what it says on the Norwegian sites explaining it.

  • @michhaynes7272

I would love a marilyn monroe video!

  • @michhaynes7272

I think back then it would have been even harder to stand up for the children and the fact that she did shows she cared about all of her children!

  • @colorsflight6432

Before you said that what he says may not be true I was thinking about how these psychopaths always lie and they always say they were sexually abused but they lie with such ease you can't believe them. An expert on predators said they lie about and that's where the false idea that child sex abusers go on to abuse others they get that from these lying predators and it's not true. Just the fact how missed male prisoners get about should tell us that but people who suffered this have come out and said the last thing they would ever want to is hurt a child like they were. So yeah psychopaths constantly lie.

Please please do a series on Marilyn Monroe!! She's my idol and my son was born on her birthday

  • @IWantMyBearSuit

I have a bit of a tidbit to add to the beginning of this where you discuss the repercussions of a child recognizing their own mortality. My father committed suicide when I was four and my mom never lied to my brother and I about how he died–and I am very grateful that she didn't–but realizing your own mortality at such a young age and understanding you have control of your own mortality is very strange and led to a lot of "interesting" times in my life 😅 you touched upon that gracefully

  • @kearstinlyonsblue8160

My husband's name is Jon Robert George 😮

  • @alterego2978

My father died when I was 6. I understood it’s permanence and didn’t become afraid of death but instead became obsessed with it. I’m sure I creeped my mother out because every time we drove by a cemetery I would beg her to stop so we could read the tombstones and I would do the math and see how old people were when they died and imagine their lives. Now, I’m an anxious 31 year old smh life.

  • @SassyCactus86

  • @smallbonsaitree

So about the mom, i grew up with a mom with diagnosed asperger. She was cold and egoistic. You wouldn’t be able to notice this directly but i was mentally abused by her. But she had her moments when she suddenly would take my side, this doesn’t make her a good mom though. I sometimes wonder if if was to keep appearances up. i dont know if his mom was cold or not, if he is lying or not. but one instance does not make a person a good mom.

  • @emberweyenberg3431

I hate this guy. I'm really trying to get through this one. I am at 57 minutes on my tablet. This guy lies. He fantasizes then he sells it as things that happened to him. At least I hope that's what he's doing.

  • @hellsbelle7533

Can you imagine how the guys that knew him in the army must have felt when years later they find out this dude they were around was so twisted, pretending to be dead and fantasizing about gross old men?? Like, what the??? They had no idea what a wack job this guy was.
