Her sister and mother are on facebook under Dorothy seger and Logan Reid. They’ve deleted it but they are still in contact and supporting Karla, Logan’s (Lori) even letting her 3 kids be close to their disgusting auntie Karla according to now deleted comments and family pictures.
They’re all rotten to the core and its the biggest miscarriage of justice that she gets to live her life with her 3 kids and husband, have a degree from mcgill and all. They should never be at peace.

Thanks for covering the case this is the first time i heard of them , when i first heard ken and barbie killers i burt out laughing . evrytime i think of ken and barbie i think of the dolls i grew up with sorry i should not this case is sad and my heart goes out to those poor victims poor things .

Shit, Stephanie. I am NOT liking this. In what world do I feel any kind of sorry for Paul Bernado?!?!
I'm a 32 year old Canadian, so I've known about this case for a looong time. I have consumed different media over the years, & vividly remeber the outrage of Karla being released. I have not done a big deep dive myself, but I know the story, & various details of the case. I've even read parts of books on it. I have never heard about his childhood. That is BEYOND fucked up, & sounds straight out of a horror movie.
I personally know of the trauma that an alcoholic abusive father, & an emotionally unavailable, mentally ill mother can cause. Not to this level!!! That coupled with the speech issues, & surgeries as a child.. If you understand psychology…. it's really not hard to see that it snapped something inside him when his brain was developing. I don't really think he had a chance.
That's not to say he wasn't severely damaged beyond repair, & an evil human being. But I no longer think he was born that way. I do not think he's a psychopath, but a sociopath. It's actually really heartbreaking, & not at all what I expected to learn. That being said I don't feel bad for justice being inflicted upon him for the horrendous crimes he did. He deserved it. I'm just sad for who that little boy became. This is messing with my head!!

My cousin had been followed, actually chased home by Bernardo. She made it to her home and got herself locked safely inside. He taunted her, banging on her windows and doors. But of course got away before the police got there.

The house this couple owned and where the crimes were committed has been demolished. I have been there. Not wanting to see or be near such a tragic and horrible place, I was brought there unbeknownst to me, as I was unfamiliar to the area, and was horrified.

Ill never forget watching Karla walking around in the home she and Paul tortured and murdered indressed like a young school girl ,Im sure that was purposefully done ,and talked about what had been done to those poor girls like she was talking about a birthday party ,with no emotion at all ,and shes free after a tiny slap on the wrist ,disgusting and I have no doubt that Karla and Paul were a match made in hell and she is just as evil as he is .

As someone with a younger sibling, I cannot fathom the thought of letting someone hurt them. I would watch the world burn to ashes before I let a single hair on their head be harmed. How could ANYONE "offer up" their younger sister to a monster ?? I'm sick to my stomach thinking about it. And thinking about Paul's mother not protecting her children from that POS husband of hers is absolutely horrible. I hope Paul's sister has since gone no contact and has had a good, calm life. I feel so sorry for that poor girl. Smh. This whole case has made me nauseous.

I think Carla was being manipulated, but I don't think she was morally opposed to what they were doing. Like, how a partner can manipulate you into always going to movies that they want to see, but will never go see movies you're excited about.

From the Lifetime movie, Karla was an unwilling participant. The first time paul killed a girl in front of her, she had a full blown panic attack. She was far too deep in love and trauma bonded.. she lost her baby sister 😢

Good morning! I know this is about three years old. I'm going through chemo at the moment and have been binge watching all of Stephanie's videos. I'm lucky though. It's skin cancer but it's on the inner corner of my left eye but apparently goes behind eyeball as well. Because of this they can't just cut it out. I have to do chemo but it's a brand new type made specifically for these hard to treat basal cells. The meds are rough but the side effects are manageable with the right meds. It's the exhaustion that's my biggest issue. I'm forever grateful though because it could have been something much worse, so I'm lucky. These videos def keep my mind occupied for probably more hours than they should lol. One of the best Utube true crime channels❤

I understand age of consent varies place to place, so this could be legal. But i would have serious concerns about an actual grown man spending the night with my daughter who’s legally a child in school
