Melinda: "She helped me heal forgive and grow"
Me: From what?! What are you talking about?

  • @maddison5937

I became really fascinated in this case and did my own research which lead me to your channel. I watched all parts and found out 200 times more info than I did on my own. You really do your research and that is appreciated. I have subscribed & will be binging!

Amanda shows no impathy. Even if she doesnt take her part in this, she doesnt even feel bad for someone she claimed to love.

  • @cindyfrasheski3910

Melinda is blessed because god let her know real love

  • @cindyfrasheski3910

Shandas mother is a wonderful woman

  • @hibernatingmummabear

You covered this case amazingly well, thank you

  • @jennilynne1977

Amanda Heavrin looks awful now. She was cute when she was younger, but she looks rough now. She probably should have had some time in jail too.

  • @cynthiakluck-johnson5895

I feel like Laurie Tackett should probably still be in jail. She seems like she's not achieved a level of responsibility. The thing that we all need to remember is that these girls were children and the human brain does not fully develop until the mid 20s. By forgiving Melinda, Shanda's mother has made a step to retrieving her own soul. If we don't believe that people can be rehabilitated, then humanity can be seriously f*****.

I have watched every video in this saga so far and I’m 23 minutes in on the last one and I’m done. I’ve cried I’ve thought about this babys parents, I’ve tried. I’m so sick, I’m done. Thank you Step, you’re so good at what you do. Too good. I’m just sick. Nope. DONE.

  • @Watts1024

Shanda had a step brother that lived at her dad and step mother’s house. He had a curfew because he was only 16, but he didn’t come home. If he had came home she most likely wouldn’t have snuck out.

  • @Spice99857

1:11:36 Amanda was only 14, and yes, she seems like a huge narcissist, but she was not a child molester, she was a kid herself.

  • @moonflower9403

My heart breaks for this poor girl. I hated this age in school, girls can be cruel but these horrible horrible teens took it to a new level. I feel bad for Shandas family and most certainly think her dad did pass from a broken heart. I cried so much during this whole series but ty for telling it

  • @rastudent

Jacque donating the puppy to Melinda for training. That gave me all of the feels. It must have been so hard to make that gesture. Speaks volumes about her as a good person.

Whether Melinda deserves that kindness? Nope.

  • @peaceransomlv

This case is infuriating! As a parent, I’d be visiting each of these girls when they got out. They don’t deserve a life.

  • @cathywald4521

It's disrespectful and an insult to your thorough and honest research to claim that you made things up…but like so many things these days, people will believe what they wish…to shatter the truth…for whatever benefits their misguided souls. Thank you, Stephanie, for all you do…💕🙏

  • @jen_wren_x

    💔💔 HEARTBREAKING AND TRAGIC..💔 RIP SHANDA ❤️

  • @melgaytan78

Why were they in the same school together? A 12yo and 15yo? That is crazy

  • @songbird2335

Hear me out. I don’t let my kid spend time with ANYONE that I haven’t done my homework on. These 15 year old girls were into some dark stuff. My heart breaks for shandas parents and they sounded like good parents. I’m just confused why this sweet innocent 12 year old was allowed to be around psycho 15 year olds without any red flags?

  • @PaulDoe79

Amanda was not 16. She was 14 when she and Shanda got together. Keep in mind she was 13 when she got together with Melinda who was 2 years older than her.

  • @ashketchum2574

Wow this case was so hard to listen to.. none of those girls served enough time. What the hell kind of middle school has this kind of drama and violence. My heart goes out to the family

  • @corissawilliams3926

I love Shanda’s sister. She’s honest and doesn’t let anyone sit there and cry wolf

  • @Emma-lb1vf

I personally don't give a fuck about Melinda and don't believe Melinda has changed. Hitler too loved animals. Where she belongs is behind bars.

  • @veronicaellen4634

You know what that thing is that makes us stand by while something bad happens to someone else? It's self-preservation, which would be a strong factor for a 15 year old girl. I've gotten involved when someone else was being bullied, I've stood up for the underdog. I've been the person who DOESN'T stand by. And I know what happens when you try to do the right thing- Nothing good.

  • @Desertmoonlight23

How are thes “16 -17 year olds” still in middle school, wtf

  • @f.frederickskitty2910

You're a really good story teller. I ran across this appalling story several years ago by accident and it simultaneously horrified me and shattered my heart. Since then I've watched other videos trying to understand why this happened because just knowing it had occurred messed with my head so much. I watched all of your related videos in this sad story and learned things I never knew previously. Thank you for telling Shanda's story – she needs to always be remembered because she was the victim and she deserved so much more. She deserved to live her life. I can only imagine the positive impact that child would have had on the world if she had been allowed to grow up. RIP Shanda. ❤

Rest in peace sweet Shanda. This is so heartbreaking. Her poor family.

  • @mandadenzer4648

If men (boys at the time) committed this crime, they'd NEVER have been released! Im fully convinced the "justice" system is sexist.

Shanda did not get true justice.
