Unraveling the Sinister Plot: How Slenderman Coerced Innocent Minds into Committing Horrific Crimes
This headline refers to the infamous Slenderman stabbing case, where two 12-year-old girls lured their friend into the woods and stabbed her multiple times in an attempt to please the fictional character Slenderman. The case sparked outrage and raised questions about the influence of internet culture on young and impressionable minds.

I had no idea that she survived the stabbing when i first heard the story. . When you hear someones been stabbed 19 times, you just assume they died. She's a bad ass.
@NZero-hf3zr
I feel like Bella should change her name just in case they get out and want to find her.
@thisbirdhasflown2554
This case is so sad! When mental illness and folie a deux turns deadly.

1:16:49 That part at the end Stephanie where you talk about Slenderman's creator, and ask 'What did you expect to happen?'. Well certainly not that. Is any person who writes creepypastas or horror stories/novels then, supposed to not do so just in case in the off chance some crazy person might get inspired by it? How is an author meant to prevent something like this, other than not writing it in the first place? If anything, isn't it the parents fault for not being more involved with what they're kid is doing/into?
@kristi_vera_parker
Yeah, with all due respect, I knew what was real and what wasn't at that age.
Like really, even at age 8.
Younger even.
I would NEVER have done something like this.
It's just ridiculous.
@bubblesblanche
Me and my best friend have known each other since kindergarten. When we were 12 I was jealous of her for things and sometimes we would get into little spats but I cannot imagine even pushing her, at 12 you know wrong from right and what’s real or not. Yes you might be more easily manipulated, coerced, persuaded, etc., but nothing in the world could have made me do something like that to anyone, never mind someone I love. I cannot have sympathy for either of those girls, they knew exactly what they were doing.
@colorsflight6432
Why would Payton stay with them after they were talking about killing her all that time. I would have disappeared myself.

Morgan's parents knew she was having schizophrenic hallucinations, like her dad who she inherited the disease from, since the age of three. Morgan's parents ignored their daughter's severe mental health condition at every single turn. They were fully aware, but made the conscious choice to do nothing. They shooed her away to slip into psychosis fueled by the unchecked kindle internet access that they gave her. This horrible incident is an example of what can happen when parents REFUSE to meet the unique needs of thier children, because they care more about their own comfort. They ignored their suffering child for 12 years and then insisted she was "a happy kid," in the same breath that they described hallucinations she was having as a toddler. Their consistent failure to parent the child that they brought into the world and passed one of the most severe mental illnesses to, is why this happened. Morgan's parents should be held liable to pay Peyton's medical bills for the rest of her life, if not held criminally responsible. Watch the HBO Max documentary to see the absolute neglect perpetrated by Morgan's parents. Its easier to ignore your mentally ill kids than it is to be a good parent. They shouldnt be surprised thats their child slipped into psychosis after 12 years of untreated schizophrenic hallucinations. Also the fact that we're trying these 12 year olds as adults is a miscarriage of justice and was only done to promote a "though on crime" image in the media. These horrible parents ruined the lives of three little girls and their families, beacuse it was easier to shut their sick child away with an unrestricted ipad, than it was to take an active role in her life. I am especially DISGUSTED by the fact that her father suffered from the exact same mental illness and did absolutely nothing when his child showed signs of the same illness as early as three years old. Its cruel.
@tecumsehcristero
I will pray for Payton’s recovery and I ask all who read this do the same no matter your religion
@thisbeem2714
So, while I agree we cannot blame the creators, people often do. If you think about the number of suicides that happened after Thirteen Reasons Why came out. The media was quick to blame that show. I believe the show triggered already suicidal kids. Slenderman obviously triggered these two disturbed girls.
If you don't blame the creators in this case but do blame the creators of Thirteen Reasons Why. Ponder why.
I am sure there will be a lot of folks who insist there is a difference.
But is there really?

🤔The BAMBI TEST.
☝️😃Everyone….
SORT OUT those little fkn KILLERS EARLY, MAN.
Better to know, than not know. So, parents, sit the kiddos down and prepare….
Now we can hold YOU 100% accountable because EVERYONE has seen Bambi.
K, so, your devil-child grows up to be an AHole killer? YOU too will be chargd and convicted, too.
…Bambi grew up without parents to but he made friends and grew up okay.
You are still alive so, lets not F this up and PARENT those little nuggets,, 🤗 K,?
🚫NO HUNTING – There is already TOO MUCH B.S. TRUE CRIME, LIVE TIME.
❤Thatll be all 🦌
PSQ: CAN WE NOT DO ANIMAL TESTING on inocent animals and switch over to VIOLENT INMATE SPECIMINS????
Who gives a FLYING F if its "cruel and unusual…". Its FITTING.
✌️😘Just a thought.
@BrOckSams0n
anissa was homicidal and morgan is so detached from reality she has absolutely no ability to separate reality from delusion. Morgan has had no success getting out of a mental institution, she absolutely cannot function without medication, and supervision both. even just on medication she relapses regularly. watching all of the interrogation videos as well as court hearings (including the applications from the girls to get out of the institution) it is clear that morgan is a very sad case.
@shannonminnig4674
My kids are only allowed to have sleepovers at our house, and only with my nieces and nephews and my best friend's kids.
@Ramalama679
Greg is obviously a great guy but for some reason that 911 call sounded so Canadian from start to finish. I love it.
@AmberWilliams-oc4fl
Thank you Stephanie H. for sticking to the facts & evidence & never sensationalizing any of your content for click bait. I seriously can’t get enough 🫶🏽
@CaleighD123
I'm so glad that man found her. He was so selfless and kind. ❤
@CaleighD123
Poor baby. My heart breaks for her. I hope she is okay one day, if that's even possible.
🙁 💔
@TinFoilCat90
Most 12 (normal) year olds would understand that these stories are not real. There was something else deeply wrong with these girls.
Note: I'd blame the parents before I'd blame a creepypasta author. They are in charge of their kids and did not get them mental health help.
@laurenbrooks3091
I heard about this case a while back but didn't "dive" into it. There's something very dark & twisted with slenderman. I mean, the evil radiating from it is palpable to me. I'm sure many may disagree but, any dark entity that draws children to itself is nothing but evil. It's literally something evil drawing children (innocence) to itself. And why else would that happen other than to warp what is innocent? And it's horribly eerie that the very thing that depicts slenderman doing, actually played out in real life. This dark thing, that I believe has demonic forces attached to it, got into the heads of those two girls and they attempted to stab their "friend" to death. While slenderman is an unreal character, there's something very real and dark attached to it.
From the background of these two girls, it sounds to me they filled their heads with a lot of dark stuff, and that they'd been doing it for a while. What we watch/read effects us. Obviously, not everyone who watches stuff like horror movies and such go out and kill someone but it does affect them in some way. For me, I can tell that if I watch too much true crime at once, particularly if they are extremely dark cases, I start feeling depressed, heavy, and uneasy.
I think both of these girls already had existing mental issues and, after falling into the rabbit hole of slenderman, it sent them over the edge. I have no doubt evil forces were at work there.
I'm so glad Peyton survived. Clearly, it was not her time to die. I do believe God orchestrated the help sent to her.
@veesea8889
You look so cute in this video Stephanie 😍
@grimviolins
Just for the record, the Sims situation is pretty normal Sims gameplay. 😬 I think everyone who plays the Sims has trapped Sims in a pool, started a house on fire, or let their Sims die with a Murphy Bed or killer plant before.
@memyselfi2005
I can see kids getting a dumb idea like this, what I can’t understand is them not thinking this is wrong and we can’t really go through with it.
