Allergic reactions are different. Marijuana has had that effect on people. It made me anxious I've seen others get paranoid. But this is off.

Sounds 100% like drug induced psychosis, it happened to me. It is so weird that she just vanished though. I’m assuming she possibly got murdered after running away. So devastating.

Totally agree with your analysis. Marijuana use can induce psychosis, probably when there is an underlying vulnerability. If that’s what happened to Carly, it would explain why she was affected and others weren’t.

This sounds like a bad acid tip to me tbh. Easily slipped into drinks etc without anyone else noticing. Just my personal unexpert opinon..Plus, how could she tell people what Karlie what she was wearing on one hand and then so uncertain when interviewed? Also, anyone thought how she would know what Karlie left in if she last saw her asleep and not as she left? Weird

This one has always sat with me, all the circumstances surrounding it. Very sad, and incredibly creepy, like the Kari Lynn Nixon case, or the Patricia Meehan case. Don’t get me wrong, I pray that she's still alive, but based on the time frame that she's been missing I'm having doubts. I think she either wandered off and died from exposure, or somebody took her and killed her. Regarding the sightings, I firmly believe that it's her ghost. I think she's haunting the area trying to get someone's attention to help find her remains so that she can finally rest. I don't want to directly point any fingers, because I don't think there's enough proof to say who could've been involved in what. I just hope she's eventually found and she can finally be at peace. So incredibly sad.

I don’t think that the step mom or dad did anything not 100 percent off the table to me but I have had that exact reaction to being drugged and all I did was smoke as well and they found so many things in me I had no idea even existed and I was like 17-18 years old something like that and I was a partier I had done things before but what they found in me was certain things I have never seen heard of nothing and I didn’t know reality from what my brain was telling me was happening and seeing but my mom took me the first 15 mins I was home and also put me in for a 51-50 I saw people coming to k*ll me and my whole family saw them get K*lled in front of me which didn’t even happen but I thought I was also dead and I was just talking to them while all of us were dead so it’s the worst thing u can have happen to you ( like besides a ton of other things) but like when u have no control of what ur brain is telling you what is real and what isn’t and everyone is telling you you’re acting insane the people who drugged me also tried to kidnap me but my mom found my car they were driving with me in it and the police were in front of me so the people got caught without selling me or taking me across border to Mexico ( I live near the border in Texas) and within like I said 10-15 mins of acting like that she took me straight to a hospital and then they flushed me and held me in psych hold for 72 hours even when they flushed me I was high or whatever u want to call it for like 48-50 hours straight so scary I really pray she’s ok

This case is not adding up I just don’t understand why they wouldn’t make her go to the hospital if she was doing that she was having a drug induced hallucinations I made my mom take me I got drugged and was seeing things I knew they weren’t real but they had to flush me and I stayed for 72 hours there and begged her to leave me there until it was all out took me 2 days to get the feeling to go away it’s the scariest thing ever 😢 feel so bad for her hope they find her safe❤ I can’t remember when this happened if Annie said it but dang she could’ve wandered off and then something happen that she didn’t do herself but someone evil did I don’t know wish the best and hope she is somewhere ok and maybe just got amnesia and can’t remember who she is or something could’ve happened if it was a bad bad trip she was having like from Acid or something like that and soon she will come home I don’t know it’s so unclear she left without anything had to be wandering and either someone took her or maybe accidentally hit her and didn’t want to tell I don’t know I pray pray 🙏🏻 she is found alive and well and she just got lost and the forgot everything hope nothing bad happened 😢🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻💔

i think the leads in the desert with the underwear and coyote feces seems the most likely… because if she truly was just hit my a car and killed, what happened to the body? did the other kids at the party just leave her body?? did they go bury it somewhere? idk… hopefully there’s some closure soon.

I had experienced something similar to her. When I was younger in my preteens, I had a really bad reaction to marijuanna. Although this was not my first time using it, this experience is something I think about and reasons why I stopped. I was with my very best friend at the time and her cousin, I too was hallucinating so bad that I also was stating that demons were out to get me or evil spirits. From what my best friend at the time told me. Is that I was acting very on edge and that I felt like I couldn’t trust anyone and was soo paranoid that I was running from her and her cousin. They caught me and just kept a close eye on me. Eventually I cried myself to sleep but I can recall how scared I was, that everyone was out to get me. Or other beings.
I am grateful my best friend at the time just stayed with me, fed me (real food). Well more like forced me to eat and drink water is what u should say. But her staying with me and staying up to watch me is probably what kept me safe until I was sober.
I just have a sad feeling if her parents took more reasonable steps and maybe even taken her to ER she possibly would still be here. I don’t think they took her too serious is what it sounds like. And her feeling that maybe she did leave to find support and it led her to either being abducted or lost. So heartbreaking

💯 it is possible for someone to have a psychotic break from weed by itself. It happens a lot actually. Especially someone that’s having some mental issues. Could be other drugs too but don’t count out weed alone. It happens, unfortunately

VERY VERY ODD that the ppl that supposedly loved Karlie did NOTHING at all to find out immediately what was going on with her.
They def SHOULD have taken her to a crisis ctr or better yet to an ER.
What they, her family, did was absolutely NOTHING at all. 😢

Common sense, which is questionable that these parents have any, would have been to call 911 or take her to the ER.!Obviously there was something seriously wrong with this girl. If they had, she might still be alive.

I'm going with the coyote theory personally. She probably succumbed to hypothermia and the coyotes ate the body.
