Actually your title must read "Narcissist ex-wife manipulated family to murder the father of her sons" Donna and Charlie did what they did purely for Wendi's sake. She seems well versed in getting her way by hook or by crook. Her family is so wrapped around her little finger and would clearly stop at nothing to give wendi what she asks for. this was a great video & summary of what happened! such an insane case. fyi just in case anyone is interested in mannnny further details Stephanie & Derrick did a multipart deep dive on their crime weekly YT channel there’s so many more insane details such as how Wendi wrote a “fictional” book that was SO clearly based on herself & Dan the main character was so miserable with her husband & where they lived & Wendi tries to act like it’s not very obviously abt herself 😂 also, the call with the brother and a guy was with the undercover DT that gave the mom the paper, it had a phone number on it & that was one of the calls. I watched the whole vid bc i love annie’s channel ofc so just wanna be clear i’m not implying this vid lacked in any way! just like she said herself it just wasn’t a deep dive so i wanted to suggest for anyone wanting to learn a lot more esp abt Wendi & Dan’s relationship & the brother’s relationship with the Katherine as well as a detailed account of the story his defense tried to make up at his trial it’s all SO interesting & unbelievably gets so much crazier than what’s mentioned in this video.
Lastly, I 100% think Wendi always knew. I don’t think her dad knew at first (based on various info mentioned in the crime weekly deep dives) but I do think at some point afterwards he was made aware. & I feel SO bad for those boys, their intelligent, loving & SANE father was taken away from them i wish them healing & happiness i hate that so many selfish insane adults cause lifelong, irreversible pain & suffering to children and choose to make them victims with their evil actions 🥺🫶🏽

Wendi is a spoiled, entitled narcissist who was extremely jealous of Dan's reputation in the legal community. She had been treated like a princess her entire life and when Dan didn't continue to worship the ground she walked on she made both public and private accusations with the intent to destroy his reputation. Narcissists simply cannot have any competition. My ex-husband was the same way. He was deeply angry and resentful any time anyone praised me either personally or professionally. After we divorced it took years of therapy for me to understand this.

You know, I wonder what would have happened if Charlie had had the sense to marry Katie. She wouldn’t have been able to talk because of spousal privilege, right? Would there have been enough evidence to convict Charlie without Katie, Sigfredo or Luis? And without Charlie could they have charged Donna? Interesting to think about. Charlie outsmarted himself by not marrying her. You KNOW Katie was ticked off- she thought she had won the golden ticket with him.

Wendi orchestrated the murder of Dan by manipulating her mother and her mother manipulating Charlie and their arrogance made them think they could get away with it; Georgia said stay tuned well it just a matter of time before the queen bee fall and no one will be there to catch her and she will have the same fate she gave Danny, she will never see her kids again and their names will be changed back to their fathers name. My prediction.
