On the morning of May 24, 2019, Jennifer appeared to be going about her usual routine, getting her children ready for school and dropping them off at New Canaan Country School. However, as the day progressed, her close friends grew concerned when they were unable to reach her. It wasn’t until 7 PM that night when two of her friends took action and filed a missing persons report, sparking a flurry of police activity.
Upon arriving at Jennifer’s home in Connecticut, investigators were met with a chilling scene – traces of blood spatter were discovered on the floor and walls of the garage. DNA tests confirmed that the majority of the blood belonged to Jennifer, further raising suspicions. The presence of blood on the kitchen faucet, a mixture of Jennifer’s blood and that of her ex-husband Fotus Dulos, only added to the growing list of red flags.
Fotus Dulos immediately came under intense scrutiny, with law enforcement closely monitoring his every move. Their suspicions were heightened when security camera footage emerged showing Dulos disposing of black garbage bags along Albany Avenue in Hartford, Connecticut on the same evening that Jennifer vanished. I live in Connecticut. We are a small state. We are still looking for her. Michelle Traconis is currently out on bail but her trial date has been set for October 4th. She asked for a change of venue from Stamford to Hartford but a judge denied her request. She is looking at conspiracy to commit murder amongst other charges and if found guilty, is facing life in prison.
