You talking about ADHD helped both myself and my daughter. I’m 38 and just diagnosed, I realized a little over a year and half ago what was going on. And I was seeing it in my then 17yo daughter as well. She’s like me, a high academic performer all through grade school, so it showed up for her in anxiety and depression, as well as difficulty being motivated to do simple tasks at home. I’m about to try treatment to hopefully improve my quality of life at home. I’m so overstimulated and peopled out after work that my relationship with my husband has started to suffer, especially with the fatigue of Hashimoto’s returning and making my tolerance of stimulation so much worse.

And my daughter just started college and has a lot of online classes. That’s where a lot of my issues showed up, but I thought the procrastination and difficulty concentrating on assigned writing (lots of discussion posts and essays) was just a character flaw. Turns out it was a symptom. Now, my daughter is doing well with treatment and won’t have the same struggles I had. When you talk about living with ADHD, I feel so seen and heard! Turns out my 3 closest girlfriends, we’re all in a group chat, are all
ADHD. Between you and them, I have learned ways to function and cope with ADHD. Much love to you for all that you do EDB 💜

Hardcore agree with the sentiment that if Emily is covering it, I'm here to listen to it! I had never been much into celebrity drama but listening to the legal cases that are spinning around in the celebrity-verse and related to pop culture in general has been endlessly fascinating. I've also appreciated your coverage of the more difficult cases. You take 'breaking down the headlines' very seriously and I'm so grateful for it!

  • @jenniferreed6300

Emily, will you be restocking the Law Nerd beanie!? ❤

  • @voxfugit

I know you do few interviews. However, one person I’d be interested in hearing you interview is Tati. I came to your channel before you hit 100k, just as the Tati case was getting started. It may be a while Down the road, but hearing a non attorney. Give her impressions of the legal system after having been enmeshed in a complex business s. Case for so many years would be interesting.

  • @Cyndiabellsmom

Great freaking episode! Love you Emily & Mandy! 💜💜💜💥

  • @Katgurl7

Emily, Watching you and your responses to you ADHD and how you adjust to it made me start to recognize in myself and get tested at 42. I am as my doc said "woah your ADHD AF girly" and we both giggled so I pick up tips and tricks of how to adjust life. Thank you so much

  • @lyndacrossman4101

Mandy Matney…you did well. hugs from FL..

  • @sylvetteferguson6791

Loved the conversation between you two!

  • @CloudslnMyCoffee

I had heard a lot of very positive things about Mandy but havent listened to her work. I think she completely misses why mainstream media is failing. It isnt the lack of opinions or enternment, it is lack of trust BECAUSE of all the opinions and entertaniment. The lack of straight reporting in the US and the amount of sheer propaganda is literally tearing the country apart.

  • @barbarabrewer7086

Remember that Handsome told Alec that if Alec would b t do something about Paul, he (Handsome) would.

  • @barbarabrewer7086

Matty's goal of corruption exposure and truth benefited from the fact that "Handsome" died as Alex was being exposed thru the abundance of illegal acts being exposed.

  • @lesliemcdowell9426

@emily that was a great interview I love you both!!! It was so exciting to see two strong women discussing topics that are very important. Keep up the great work🥰

  • @lydiastardust5169

Thanks for bringing ADHD and neurodiversity as a whole into this conversation and sharing that. We process differently and colorfully and it's an important element of our work and psyches.
