She was a woman scorned. She tried everything to make him happy and her rage took over. I think she meant to kill him, and she did it with his daughter in the car!!!! That poor girl will never get that image out of her head for the rest of her life. Yes, that guy was an ass hole, but she should have just realized her worth, hired an excellent attorney and took him for everything he had. I normally wouldn't say that, but he treated her so poorly and like dirt that I feel it would have been justified.

I truly believe she had a psychotic break, insane with jealousy at the time. She was betrayed twice: once with the clandestine affair, then again when he asserted he would end it. The things he said to her about her appearance were crude, diminishing, and degrading. He was no Fabio. I totally understand her breakdown. I wish she had just rammed the mistress's car. She did her time, lost the whole life of her boys, and must live with deep regret each day. I don't understand the refund request. She certainly did not need the money. Maybe it was just analytical mind thought. He, however, was a lying, cheating, deceitful ass who needed to be kicked to the curb and taken to the bank but did not deserve to die. To begin with, wth did the private investigators show her the tape before their investigation was finished. They were counting on her being there so they could keep the money because they caught him the first day they went to follow him.

I think her sentence was way too long… she acted impulsively…. and of course she had an emotional breakdown she was in a rage I think we have all done things in a rage and I don't think her intention was to kill him period…. she did literally everything to try and save her marriage….. I definitely wouldn't have wasted my life on ANY MANY EVER you want my left over trash go for it…. I don't agree with making judgments of people's affect when they are in shock. I personally keep my emotions mostly private. Especially the crazed or dark ones. I can pop into "get it done" mode in a heartbeat in tragic times. Not anyone else's business to see my pain. She snapped. He was a controlling dick. The man was viciously MURDERED, for crying out loud. And a teenage daughter traumatised beyond imagination. His infidelity does not justify that. Nothing does.
Just like men, adult women are responsible for being in control of their emotions and behaviours. Or are they somehow less competent than men? Crime of passion – she snapped and I am not surprised given how he treated her. Killing someone is never ok, but the seeing red I can understand. It's one of those scenarios where you don't know how you would react in that moment. I mean, taking his mistress to the hotel where they had their wedding is just sick!
