Highly detailed crime investigators were immediately intrigued by the complex web of lies spun by Jesse in the case of Grace’s disappearance. On the day she was reported missing, surveillance footage showed Jesse carrying bags which he later disposed of in various trash bins throughout the city. His suspicious actions ultimately led to his arrest for questioning.
During his initial interrogation, Jesse attempted to paint a rosy picture of his last encounter with Grace at Sky City. He claimed that their night ended with a simple hug and kiss on the cheek, with plans to stay in touch. However, detectives were quick to poke holes in his story.
In a subsequent interview, Jesse changed his tune, alleging that he and Grace were heavily intoxicated when they returned to his room. He described a disturbing scene where Grace allegedly requested violent sexual acts, including biting and choking. Jesse argued that he was simply following her lead and that she had consented to the escalating violence.
The next morning, Jesse claimed to find Grace unconscious on the floor with blood trickling from her nose. Despite the evidence pointing to foul play, Jesse adamantly insisted that Grace’s death was a tragic accident and not premeditated murder.
As the investigators delved deeper into the case, it became clear that Jesse’s version of events was riddled with inconsistencies and half-truths. The web of deception he had built around Grace’s disappearance only served to heighten suspicions of his involvement in the heinous crime. The hunt for the truth was far from over.

Annie- love ya- you put out lots of content but take a break from it- it can’t be good for you to be immersed in all this negativity and horrible stuff in general. We will understand! I took a hiatus from all the crime podcasts as well cause it was making me feel anxious.

He’s a narcissist. He believes it was all her fault. He’s perfect. He could never do such things. The delusion is real.
