I believe suicide. All of the other stuff, groceries, gifts, etc., are all of his planned coverups, to him killing himself.
@erinderrick6783
I'm sad more hasn't been done to solve this. Seems like there are two solid leads they didn't dive too far into. Hoping for some resolution for the family and steven

The blurred picture of brett is what my nightmares are made of lol
@jessicaRabbitt3316
I think Jordan was def on the right track and doesn't seem sketchy AT ALL. How would Brett's wife know anything when she wasn't around the house at all? It seems maybe Brett figured a way to have Stephen "pay him back" by doing some kind if run for him. I think your theory is right and Brett had him delivering something he didn't know what it was. Mark and Brett both sketchy and know wtf happened to this young man and its sad. I hope his family gets answers and Stephen gets justice that they all deserve. So scary and so sad đ˘
@Julesb2183
Obvi he ran away with Susan Cox Powell. /s
But seriously Steven would have been a much better partner for her. đ˘

First, the "casita" or small house is in the front yard, not the back. That is strange in and of itself. Also, we know there is a connection between Brett and Marc.. I'm 1,000% certain Steven was there that day delivering something, probably prescription pills. Albeit I don't think he knew what it was, but having owed Brett money, this was most likely his way of having him "pay off a debt". It explains the numerous calls before and after his disappearance, the trip to Orem, UT on the 7th and why he was in Vegas (visiting Marc) when he turned up missing. Marc probably tried to steal the pills leading to an altercation, disposed of his body in the city he had the P.O Box and owned multiple properties…. one of which has since been built on top of. That's where his body is!

There's no f at the end Pahrump…
@hollyleming7598
Maybe they would go rock hunting there? Idk? I live in Utah and that's what I do for fun. Look for cool rocks and fossil.
@karentucker2161
Mark is suspicious but so is the landlord too. Now unto watch the rest of the video. I wonder if the 2 are connected đ¤
@CaddyJim
You're theory that Steven was delivering something that he thought was legit he wouldn't have parked in a empty cul-de-sac & walked around the block to deliver it. And this isn't desert area that you pointed to in that neighborhood that's a golf course so there's people there frequently
@CaddyJim
The variety of pill bottles found prescribed to other people would also have the pharmacy written on it. So I wonder if they all have the same pharmacy & if that pharmacy is the one he was working for
@CaddyJim
He didn't say he only lived there two or three months he said he only lived there two or three months before Steven moved in
@maryroberta8094
The fact that D'Maggio's neighbors were recording license plates suggests drug trafficking .
@Lucy-ym8ch
My gut feeling is that he was tired of his life, embarassed at what was happening, unsure of his faith and wanted a new life and fresh start. Buying groceries etc was his way of showing he loved his family and wasn't suicidal but needed space.
I would guess that once they put his face on milk cartons like a missing child, he realised he couldn't return without lots of recriminations.
I'd say he was hoping his ex would look for him in Sacramento and he has a new phone and bank account.
I think it's a stretch to say he didn't know what he was doing was illegal. He was an intelligent guy. Nobody is all good or all bad.
I have LDS friends and love them dearly but has anyone noticed how many Mormon guys struggle with a double life? Travis Alexander? Josh Powell? Ted Bundy? Not saying he's like any of those, just the impossible expectations. He had a lovely singing voice, I hope he's busking somewhere and living in an RV near Sacramento with a nice guy or girl.
@Lucy-ym8ch
Ha, I thought he was possibly delivering drugs whilst watching part 1. I hope he's alive somewhere, like Clarence in True Romance.

marc diamaggio was using that white van to transport the body of Steven Koecher which is why he move out of that house in just 3 hours. police fail to follow up on
-securing warrants for marc's other properties
-question marc further or brett bishop about the connections between him and marc
-asking about that file folder that steven was carrying that day could that be the prescriptions from brett then he went over to that house where marc diamaggio is then he used that white van to kill him (claim he has dissappeared) because he didn't wanna be found guilty for killing steven koecher????

Just commenting for the algorithm đ

I happen to work in a Del Webb which is part of the Pulte Group a home builder. Sun Cities are built by Pulte. No one under the age of 55 is supposed to be living in a home there. Mark could live with his parents if they lived there. Iâm not sure why no one in that neighborhood reported him after the parents moved out.
@rebeccagomez4391
I wonder do the call logs coincide to Steven's mysterious travels? Just curious if it's been looked into… Definitely feel like answers are with the druglord I mean landlord… imho
@addyrall9359
âTell them to check the baggieâ lol that made me chuckle
@brianfarrand1919
I donât want to sound like a ass, but you did this story 2 years ago, is there a part 3, I can not find it?
@brianfarrand1919
I just spent 3 hours listening to you. I thought watching a 2 part post there would be a conclusion to the story. I donât get it, know I have to potentially wait years with court crap to learn what happened. I think you should on episode 1 say that my following episodes will still have no verdict/conclusion to the story, canât you say I donât have a conclusion to this story as of yet.
@shannontrent9228
Unless he was masking it well, I don't believe he killed himself. Close to the time of his disappearance, he was around many shady seeming characters and I think you did a great job with the details and sleuthing out who might have done it. It's so shocking to me the very minimal amount of tracking and follow up the police seemed to do. It would be so awful for his family to never know what happened to him.
@lindaanderson6780
It seems like the cops did a shocking job on this investigation!
It's either the landlord he owed rent to or it's the dude that lived at the 'vacant' house who took 2 months to finally speak to cops, wouldn't tell them where he actually lived & owned the 4 different properties!
Seems like the cops didn't do much follow up with either of them!
A disgracefully incompetent & incomplete police investigation in my opinion!
@stacieransom5677
The "Porsche" thing is so stupid considering it's an "E", not an "A".
@kathyjensen6773
I hope they try to search the strip as much as they can anyway đ˘
@ANDREA-kk2gx
Maybe he was delivering stolen license plates… when he disappeared…. maybe that was the deal for his rent
@rulenevandersteen7835
Thank you for an excellent, excellent piece of work, Stephanie! â¤
