Dylan Lenz is charged with first-degree attempted homicide and could face up to 40 years in prison and 20 years of extended supervision if convicted of the charges against him. Lenz also is charged with first-degree reckless injury, use of a dangerous weapon, hit-and-run and battery.

This guy is still not in jail. Just now changed his plea from not guilty to not guilty due to mental defect. I'm from Fall River/ Columbus. My children went to Fall River school and my grandsons go to Fall River school. Thank God for Beaver Dam Police. He choked his sister because she lost his phone. 😢😢

I do believe it was planned from the first time he started talkin to her because he said at one point he had thoughts of killing just so happened he ran across her and she would become his victim I think it was planned from the first time he started talking to her on Snapchat I don't use Snapchat I don't like it as a matter of fact before the new year started I got off all of social media platforms because of the simple fact that it's nothing but drama I'm at the point now where I don't even miss and I'm doing a whole lot better not being on there I got off of Facebook I never dealt with Twitter messaging and Instagram I'm on no social media platform at this point and I do not miss it I never did like Snapchat I never did get into Snapchat or trying to even use Snapchat but like I said I'm on no social media platform at all at this point and I do not miss but I do think that it was playing when he first started start talking to her on Snapchat I think that he figured okay this is going to be my victim and she's going to be the one that I killed so it was

I'm aware this video is 10 months old and I hope that Abby has made it through and is doing better. I want to know what is the difference between meeting someone online who does something horrible and someone one met in a bar? People act like terrible things didn't happen until the internet showed up but nothing could be further from the truth. People have not changed; they just found a new way to target their victims.

A liar is a liar no matter where you meet them. The killer is the same too. People were murdered way before the internet you just didn't know police files and every city or full of unsolved murders. Serial killers existed and you didn't know. The guy who lived behind us when I was a kid is probably one of the most prolific serial killers ever in the US killing from the 1950s through 1972. People don't know about it all because they caught him and he confessed without any real news coming out as they'd been hunting him a long time over many many states as he was a national park Hunter. Yeah all those missing 411 might want to start thinking serial killers.
Reason we found out they interviewed us, the FBI. We kids really didn't understand what we were being ask but I asked my dad later when I was older. New at the time it was cuz he was a killer. Dad told me more about what the FBI agent told him and why we moved that summer
I think being touched by that guy living behind us and our dad warning us to be very very careful about him had really affected us as kids. We didn't hitchhike etc. but I can't tell you how many times my family ended up being the innocent witnesses of really odd things, dead bodies found on the freeway etc. You know just things that don't usually happen to normal people.
So we were more cautious but I realize how stupid I was when I was young. Letting somebody pick me up from a bar at 23 thinking he seems nice as stupid could I be. If he decided to kill me that night nobody would have known where I went or what happened. So when we are vulnerable is when we think we are the most secure no matter where we are.
PS what is happening today is is now becoming more prevalent in the younger generation because pornography is more prevalent and has been proven to especially internet based abusive p***lead to the brain totally changes. It acts like a brand that is addicted to heroin. Now not all heroin addicts are Killers but what are you seeing when you're watching abusive p? Usually it's the enactment of fantasies but sometimes if the person is really good they can get onto international sites that show snuff films and these are real. Usually a trafficked / abducted person who well the killer doesn't care they're just making money selling that site. Be careful what you put in your brain. Even watching too many True Crime especially very serious ones can affect the mind just as bad as pretend.

Why would you give a stranger your address led alone get in a car with them? Times are dangerous. Where did she tell her parents she was going? Her parents didn’t see her get in a strangers car?
Why wasn’t the car cleaned? They just leave blood in their car with no issues?

I live in Madison, Wisconsin. Madison is about a 45 minute drive to Baraboo where this occurred. To be honest this doesn’t surprise me something like that happened there. Baraboo is a small “hick” town & extremely racist. A lot of the small towns in Wisconsin are. It is not a town I would ever feel comfortable or safe in. It is so messed up what happened to this young woman. I pray for a speedy and full recovery for her. Going to check updates after this. 😢

I am not saying not to trust them , I am saying we should see who they are talking too. It's different times now!! PARENTS need to talk to their kids about mental health! Wait.. she was a pen pal with Jesse’s cell mate? That means she knows that Jesse was once in prison! Of course Holly knew and she paid the price and got her kids and two other innocent kids killed! Maybe that was motive… if her husband found out she was talking to one of his old cell mates! The Okmulgee county sheriff’s office is definitely incompetent and it doesn’t surprise me. This is very similar to the Ashley Freeman and Lauria Bible case from Welch Oklahoma in 1999. This is why I am afraid of most small towns in oklahoma. Crooked people in powerful positions.
