Welcome to Annie Elise’s 10 to life, where we dive deep into true crime cases with a critical eye for red flags. Today, we unravel the chilling case of Cassidy Rainwater, a young woman whose disappearance in the Ozarks of Lebanon, Missouri has left a community haunted by the worst of humanity.

Cassidy’s story begins with a report of her missing by her family member, Cora Terry, who revealed Cassidy’s connection to a man named James Phelps. As investigators delved into the case, they uncovered shocking details that pointed to Cassidy being held against her will in a cage on James Phelps’ property. The evidence found on Phelps’ phone, including disturbing images of Cassidy’s demise, painted a gruesome picture of her final moments.

But the web of darkness surrounding this case doesn’t stop there. Rumors of cannibalism, human trafficking, and a history of similar crimes in the community have fueled speculation and fear. As the investigation unfolded, the discovery of human remains dated to the day of Cassidy’s disappearance only added to the horror of this case.

And as authorities fought to uphold their investigation’s integrity in the face of rampant rumors, questions arose about the depth of the depravity involved in Cassidy’s murder. Were James and Tim merely the tip of the iceberg in a larger network of heinous crimes? Were there other victims, lured and preyed upon like Cassidy?

The connections between Tim and James, former high school buddies turned collaborators in a macabre enterprise, raise even more questions about the depths of their depravity. The meticulous planning and execution of Cassidy’s murder suggest a level of sophistication and experience that points to a long history of similar crimes.

As this case heads toward trial, the community braces for the chilling details that will emerge in court. The quest for justice for Cassidy Rainwater and closure for her family hinges on the trial’s outcome. And as the dark truth behind Cassidy’s death slowly comes to light, we can only hope that her story serves as a cautionary tale against the darkness that lurks in the hearts of men.

Stay tuned for updates on this case as it continues to unfold, and may Cassidy Rainwater’s memory be a reminder of the dangers that lurk in the shadows of our society. Thank you for joining me on this journey into the depths of a true crime nightmare. Until next time, stay vigilant and stay safe.

MASSIVE TRIGGER WARNING. This case is a cross between the Turpin’s, Jeff Dahmer and Girl in a Box. It is NOT an easy watch.

  • @nicolewhite5039

I feel very sorry for her the way it sounds is that they were selling her body meat as if it were deer meat that may be how the other people knew that they were selling human meat

I honestly think Cassidy and her mother Tracy’s death are linked together I think Cassidy mother was murder the same way by the same man And the Sheriff I think is a part of this And who know haw many people may be in on this organization and haw people have falling victims to this organization I would not be surprised if there’s a tons of victims out there who came to there death in that cage I definitely think other people have died in that cage If not all there victims that cage sure speaks for it self sent this organization has gone on for years .

There’s five layers of the dark web and it gets darker and darker as you peel back layers a lot of teen jokers hackers access it for chess games and stuff like that one guy bought a dybbuk off it and he opened it like an idiot his health faded fast he got it with bit coins it came with a warning ⚠️ about owning it idk if he’s still alive but he wasn’t in good shape he had a real nice apartment and it was turned to crap because of this thing

  • @GrapeApe2018

FYI: Both men guilty at trial and given life sentences.

  • @GrapeApe2018

The house at the scene of the unsolved missing person/murder case of my friend Randy Leach was set on fire….TWICE. During the so called investigation. No FBI in his case despite the fact that he was a minor. Just a hick kid, who cares right? Law enforcement certainly didn't. Then or now.

  • @tiffanymeyer-hw3sc

I will also add that rhis case actually took place very very small town called windyville. The cabin is no longer there. Love that you're covering this!!its been very hush hush locally

  • @tiffanymeyer-hw3sc

This case is a local one to me. I 100% believe this is linked to the springfield 3 as well. I personally have ran into the guy with the long hair and I was completely weirded out that I hid in my work freezer until he left just a couple years before this case came out.

  • @Charge0Complete

    yeah…uh…tripwires DONT have timers

  • @meganlee162

I see on aerial view there are about 25 cars lined up on the property. Whose cars are those?

  • @Trishthetrex

Lebanon is also home of evergreen… aka the Clinton’s business… 😮

  • @starltavares

Oh and one more thing this sheriff is wanting us to believe that some one making an online anonymous tip to the FBI tip line about a murder can't be tracked down I mean seriously the FBI has the money and the resources to find out anything like some asshole purchasing human skin from the dark web is gonna have something more sophisticated to hide the vpn from the FBI that they won't be able to crack it get real !

  • @starltavares

so did i hear this correctly that part of her bones were found between the property line of this sick fucks property and her own (deceased) family members property line ? so in all this nightmare of a story is no one not even the detectives on this case gonna look into the fact that this property is right next to the property that is still property belonging to her family member ? property that she probably had some kind of rights to same as her mother did im sure and property that was probably vacant for some time ? if that is the case maybe they need to go search on that property and start pulling up dirt over there because thats probably an area those sick fucks have been using as well this woman was a threat to there whole sick operation she was probably interested in laying claim on it or living on it but didnt have the money or help to do anything and sounds like she was on the verge of homelessness she probably went there to check out the situation and ended up running into to this guy he offered her his place to stay in while she got her shit together in order to be able to live on that property so they figure they will have to get rid of her like they did her mamma because anyone laying claim on the property that is right next to these sick fucks property is probably a threat to this whole darkweb skin selling operation they got going on everyone cant see passed the horrific things they had done to this woman that details about there property lines were shared with this ladies imidiate family members witch im sure have been vacant and fair game to these assholes since they got rid of her mom but you know who are suppose to take note of details like that THE COPS AND THE DETECTIVES working the case that is who should be

  • @yomama6444

I have family in the ozarks and I believe they are into bad things like this… MONTAVY

  • @amberdavis5083

Phelps got life without parole, he should have gotten the death penalty 🤮

This was not a one time thing. And I believe the sheriff is in on it. So scary.. rip Cassidy 💔

  • @trailofatrilliontears1045

Every time you warn us that a story is going to be extra horrific in some way i think how can it be any worse than the rest and then. Well. It is. I honestly don't know how we aren't all on psych meds after knowing all the gruesome details of these cases or just plauged with nightmares. One thing that bothered me was when the neighbor said God had a protecting hand for some of the ppl living around there. I really wish ppl wouldn't say that type of thing all the time. It implies that God protects some and not others. So many good ppl and innocent children are murdered viciously all the time and it's not because God was looking out for someone else and not them. Anything can happen to any of us at anytime. It just depends on who comes across our path. Also i just got to say it. I think they did the same thing to her mom and think someone at the police department is involved. Just a gut feeling mixed with a little common sense.

  • @chanelsweetlady

She was young enough to b their daughter, they are some REAL MONSTERS man. I pray for her soul and God her family to heal from this 🙏🏾😔

  • @herman7992

There is a movie called Fresh – and in the movie they sell human meat for rich cannibals – there is rich people with that type of fetish in the world as sick as it is. They are normal people that you won't ever expect; and it won't be strange if some of police are involved for money or even more sinister. K1llers and crime are by human and last I checked police are human. The sheriff forgets his talking to the public who pays his salary, so he works for the public not the other way around!
