As a highly detailed crime investigator, it is crucial to delve deep into the dark and twisted tale of Julissa Thaller and the heinous crime that shook her small town to its core. A promising young woman with a troubled past, Julissa’s descent into madness culminated in the tragic death of her son, Eli Hart. Despite the overwhelming evidence against her, some still cling to the belief that she is innocent, refusing to acknowledge the chilling Google searches, the disturbing surveillance footage, and the heart-wrenching testimonies that paint a clear picture of her guilt. The failures of Child Protective Services and the court system are glaringly evident in this case, as multiple red flags were ignored, leading to the ultimate tragedy. The cold and callous demeanor of Julissa, even after her sentencing, speaks volumes about the dark and twisted nature of her crimes. The question remains, how many more innocent lives will be lost before real change is implemented in the broken system that failed Eli Hart? The search for justice and accountability continues, as we strive to unravel the truth behind this harrowing tale of betrayal and loss.

  • @annieelise

Do you think Julissa is guilty? Also, what are your thoughts on the new camera angles, I can’t decide. Yay or nay? ❤

  • @Nycpa5

You would think that after so many cases there would be more protection for kids, more rules or steps before just handing off a kid. Maybe the Google search should have been made first before releasing the little boy, random visits, there were so many factors that any normal person would have said no, how are these social workers just checking off the checklist and saying in one report one thing and then come back and say something else

  • @BiPolarBear128

Im confused , Annie Elise starts off by saying that this woman had such a promising future , then immediately says she had mental issues , drug issues , neglected her child … those are totally conflicting descriptions that do not align …how did she have a promising future when she is drug addled and having mental issues and neglecting her child

  • @jeanettemiranda5147

She had serious mental issues and did not deserve Eli nor did Eli deserve such an evil person.

  • @user-zl6io8rf9i

I think since there was going to be a custody battle he should have stayed in foster care until it was done that way he was still safe, as for the sate another child failed. The should have it in place for parents that do drugs and or abusing there kids they should stay in care until they have proven like after at least a year that they can stay clean or for the abuser to be found guilty and have no rights they need to stay in care

  • @ryanquint2045

To this day OJ says hes innocent. Case closed.

  • @cm1642

WHEN IS THIS COUNTRY GOING TO DISSOLVE CHILDREN SERVICES IN ALL.STATES AND RECREATE AN AGENCY THAT ACTUALLY PROTECTS CHILDREN?

  • @ElectricRose9001

Both this mom, AND the cops are why there should be a national standard of Sex Ed in the country. JFC…

  • @jrslzr1

She knew what she was doing as much as she wants to claim incompetence. RIP eli.. kid was still a little angel

  • @lindaanderson6780

Yep Child Protection Services (CPS) should be re-named as Child Endangering Services (CES)!
Truly, u have to wonder if the eventual horrific outcomes of so many cases such as Eli's could have possibly been any worse had nobody ever contacted CPS or had they not even ever become involved at all!
Cos what bloody good did they do?
What child did they actually protect?
There was a proven to be much better option available for this child!
He was not without other people who loved him & wanted to care for him!
Indeed it was just the opposite!
Why wouldn't they award full custody of Eli to his father & his wife who had shown that they were able to provide Eli with the safe & loving home he deserved & needed!
The fact that he just kept getting sent back to his abusive, neglectful & selfish trailer-trash mother after she had continuously failed to attend or complete parenting programmes & other recommendations or requirements given to her, her house was found to be filthy & unhealthy for a child to be living in at least twice, & she couldn't even pass regular drug tests!
The incompetence & negligence of authorities were once again no less responsible for Eli's senseless & preventable death as his depraved murderous mother is!
What an appalling tragedy & an inexcusable failure to protect innocent young Eli from his nasty, spiteful, trouble-making, drug-addled, unfit, uncaring & cold-hearted mother!

  • @ryannmckenna

This case just shatters my heart.. the fact that his daddy and step mom wanted him.. fought for him, and the state still handed him back to her is devastating. I cannot even imagine what his last moments were like. When she was saying that he could have been thinking he was going on a late night adventure with his mom made my eyes water. My young girls love to go with me wherever I go.. they get so excited.. to think he could have been feeling the same only to have a shotg*n pointed at him? 😪 this woman is pure evil.. why fight to keep him if she knew this was the outcome she wanted for him?!
Rest easy, baby boy.. praying for his daddy. 😔

  • @eddyk3

Is this title rage bait or what? Because nobody (not even you) think Julissa might innocent.

  • @kellygrubbs915

I can’t understand how anyone could believe they could get away with a crime with all of the technology out there these days! I mean cctv almost everywhere and of course those like this evil demon that do Google searches!!!! Your phone can even be searched regardless of whether you erased messages! As I’ve often said…. Thank goodness for STUPID CRIMINALS!!!! They make their beds and jump right in! It’s also astonishing and disturbing to me that so much evil exists today! I know that evil has always been around but it just seems to me to be far over abundant now! My late boyfriend who passed in 2020 at age 50 from a massive stroke used to tell me that it’s ALWAYS been highly “crimey” (heard that made up word on another true crime channel! Lol) but it’s just more publicized now due to technological advances and I somewhat agree but honestly I do think it’s more “crimey” now than ever and what disturbs me is that it seems that some people are born without a soul! No sense of humanity, compassion, morals, appreciation for life…. Nothing of true value or positivity. Countless “people” just walking around day to day with nothing good or pure in their minds or hearts and looking just like the average person. We never know what the person standing next to us in public might have done, is pondering doing and is capable of and that to me is absolutely mortifying! I had a serious spinal injury almost 14 years ago, had a botched surgery that made it much worse and after 5 attempts over the years trying to be a part of the workforce I’ve had to give up due to excruciating pain so I rarely get out of the house and I have to say I feel a bit safer but it can happen to you anywhere, home included! Another thing that tears at my soul even more is knowing that at any given moment the hell that the child in this account went through is being forced upon other children as well and to think of the terror, excruciating pain and torture and the feelings of confusion and bring unloved/hated and deep sadness is absolutely stifling to me AND OUR “WONDERFUL GOVT SERVICES” aka Judges, Police Officers and even more Child Protective Services fail so many children daily! I watch a whole lot of true crime cases about children and almost every one that I’ve heard speaks of the “Govt Services” giving children back to their abusers and apparently turning their heads when abuse and neglect are blatantly obvious! It’s an issue that makes me livid!!!! Someone very high up in our federal govt should call for massive reformations across the board when it comes to the safety of children!!!! Why even have the services like CPS if they’re continually allowing precious children to “fall through the cracks”?!?!? Anyway, I truly pray that this disgusting excuse for a mother reaps what she has sewn when all is said and done and if not on this realm then certainly in the next one!!!! 😡😡😡😡😡. Rest peacefully precious angel boy. None of what you had to endure in your short little life was deserved! You deserved to be loved and protected. 😞💔🙏🏻🕊️♾️

  • @EmmaAnsonia-oo6tb

It's no excuse being homeless and her bad life, and if anything U should look after your children more, I allowed my son's father take over our son as I knew I was no good at that point and I even had to have supervision,to see which was wrong but I don't blame the system as it's surely better to be safe than SORRY

  • @MojoMountainMan

Someone should sue the Judge that gave this custody to that monster

  • @MojoMountainMan

She sh°t him with a sh°tgun 9 TIMES?!? What was left of him?😟

  • @tammidecker2401

This story makes me so mad!!!
I feel like people failed this little boy!

  • @FlyingAshtrays

Kind of a Gross Title dont you think? These are actual human beings that possessed memories, this isn't just a fun dark narrative. Have fun earning money while being "comfy and cozy". Any legal background anyway? Pathetic and narcissistic.

  • @ChrisFrazierthecoach

They will give mothers the benefit of doubt no matter what she is or does. We see this so much just because they want the man to pay no matter what. This will never change at all.

  • @jadea.4657

This is by far the worst case of abuse I've heard about. The mom is clearly unstable, and for cps to release Eli to her is the most dumbest thing I've heard. Now I see why the younger generations are not having children. It is sad however I don't see why a drug addict should have the business to reproduce.

  • @JessicaCoffman-le1gd

I feel like there needs to be stricter rules on returning a child. Like depending on the severity of the case, yes, they can go back to the family. Sometimes people just get on hard times. But if its another level of abuse, and they have tried twice, then they should not have access to that child. There are so many people in the world who cant have children and would love to love a child who needs it. We have to quit doing this to the kids. i guess maybe in the beginning the system may have worked, but with all the changes in the world and the more evil we have, we need to update it and make clear defined safety lines for these kids.

  • @ad0rkableprincess

I was raised in a apartment complex where a monster lived and well, I just don’t understand how he was able to for so long to so many of us…

  • @chartmann43

What a beautiful little boy. ❤❤😢😢💔💔

  • @geminimonroe8961

When does CPS do the right thing? Why is the case workers the only opinion the one listened to – even when blatantly wrong? 😮😡 Rip lil Eli. They failed you tremendously. Same for Rowan Marr. CPS truly failed her & her mom. CPS has too much power and seem to be extremely incompetent! How many innocents have to suffer at their mercy?????

  • @jokersniffsgames3897

Ad litem you failed! How dare the third party that was created to prevent this recommend him to be returned to his mom !

  • @danielleroberts2388

The WHOLE system failed this little boy time and time again. His stepmoms statement made me cry. Was so powerful. Intense.

Yet his “bio” mom gave 0 fcks about her actions in the courtroom.. even some serial killers can act remorseful but not her. I can’t understand how anyone (especially a parent) can do harm/ murder their child, ever!

  • @sandybarnes6336

Social services should be on trial. What is wrong with them. 😡😡😡

  • @veronicalee7803

I was their neighbor and remember this day vividly. Driving by the car on my way to work, my dad texting me at work that he needed to show officers his license to get into our building through the crime scene tape, it’s all so scary and so traumatic. I saw her bring him to school multiple days and never once thought their story would end this way much less be this horrible. Eli deserved better. Everyone failed him.

  • @commonsense2680

Child protection laws always say the court should look at the best interest of the child NOT the best interest of the parent! The judge in this case idiotically placed this child with the most abusive, drugged out, trashy parent. It was clearly in Eli's best interest to be with his father, and ELI loved his father so much, and visa versa. I am so sorry for his father and stop mother who will spend the rest of their lives with a hole in their hearts.

  • @toriahmyworld

So this is how a so called 1st world country's police, social workers and a judge works…..😂😂😂😂🙄

  • @egonrhoodie2745

The beast system on earth is horrific enough.. My ❤shatters for this boy May God and the Angels give you a heavenly playground 😇🙏🤗💐💗💐

  • @larrytrujillo7293

How intelligent are these law officials/courts im MN?!

These police officers that stopped Jalissa have to be the most ignorant individuals I've heard heard of!

Thats why this County failed rhis poor oorr child!

  • @evolutionofcando379

idc if she showed no signs of physical abuse, this is about the judge going on his own intuition and saying that she’s not fit to raise a child, they always go by the rules and stick to them, people need to step out and go against the grain and make the right choice, that’s how things change, EVERYONE FAILED THAT BOY

  • @brunoalbiol3932

With this much mental illness history and drug use she still get to win the child custody. How ?????

  • @alk4717

The fact that our system strives for reunification for kids put in foster care (which I have no issue with assuming the parent(s) are actually fit), but during custody cases they will literally let a mom run a muck and still give her custody and not even give a father who wants to be present the time of day for any mistake he’s made…
I’ve seen it happen SO many times too. Thankfully not to this extent… but mothers who don’t show up to court, one in particular because she had been arrested the night before for a dr*g charge. And the father had to fight for another year to get custody of his kids. If the roles were reversed that case never would have gone on that long. It’s disgusting the things our court systems consider to be important, while ignoring major red flags and shutting out good parents who want to be present.
