Looks like the Atlanta Federal appeals Court is balanced conservative liberal. Based on what we know of these judges, how do you think it's going to go next month?

  • @jeannem.6534

When the government tax officials have an picture of you used as a dart board I'd say that shows bias. Fourth amendment abuses are rife in this prosecution. I hope they are both released soon!

  • @MidnightRambler

Nothing worse than tax dodgers. In the eyes 👀 of the Fed government.

  • @deb6616117

They just won a 1 million lawsuit will you be covering that?

  • @deborahevans1052

They are tired in being in prison already well they have a long way to go.

  • @kateashley950

Hi Emily please cover this appeal.

  • @katielaginess3344

She talks to much about things that have anything to do with the case

  • @melissapace4996

My biggest question is, what are they guilty of? He filed bankruptcy when he wasn't broke. That's illegal. The Chrisleys say they are totally innocent, but that can not be true.

  • @gailknowles3804

I cannot for the life of me, see how these people are in prison. That circus they called a trial was just ridiculous, focusing on their attitude instead of evidence and facts. Their "arrogance", which is part of their show, was actually brought up and treated with such importance during and after the trial. I don't think they should get a new trial. I think they should be released, the charges dropped and let these people get on with their lives. This is horrible.

  • @KellySilva-pw8qj

Everything in my gut says.. they are loud and proud republicans, they are white, and the judge is a black liberal using her power cause she personally didn’t like them. 100%

  • @laurasikeler

wow! By accident came upon you on line. I don’t understand why they gave them each such long terms. Appreciated your legal discussion and points of view. Thank you

  • @rebeccamyott7041

These two has NO right to demand anything.!,,,

  • @Pinkdesert

I would appreciate if you would address something. While I believe that Todd and Julie qualify for an appeal, it seems the way you communicate about this case is that you feel they are innocent. The way the Feds got part of the evidence was by an illegal search, however, the information was still there. It proves that they did indeed commit these crimes and could get off or get a new trial on a technicality. If they get their appeal, the evidence would be inadmissible, however they still committed these crimes, is this correct? I feel that many people believe Todd and Julie are innocent when in fact they committed multiple crimes. Isn’t the IRS’s testimony just a fraction of all the testimonies?

  • @louisehorn8983

Why couldn’t the Chrisley‘s just pay it back. I don’t believe they are guilty.

  • @sharpear1031

This is not a criticism of you, as all reporting on this set of cases, do this and it can be argued it is necessary for clarification and understanding, but it is about constantly spending time before commenting on any given day about the Chrisleys' cases to onerously and repeatedly set out his 12 year conviction and the various facets of the sentence, and then the same for Julie. You would say your audience needs this. Why do I complain? Because I do not feel, and I do pick up on the breezes going through my bones on these cases (which is why you are covering them as well) that Todd is not going to serve out the terms of the 12 year sentence, nor is Julie going to serve out in any real way the seven year sentence terms. This includes paroles that can be factored in. Why do I say this? I feel that it is not just me but many feel that if the verdicts here are not overturned and the parties released or given relief, something of a drastic, or surprising turn of events will take place, and these sentences will become moot. It is as if the audience is being pelted with the errors that the defendants have suffered. We ought be allowed simply to hear your perspective, IMO.

  • @kimberlybuckman2607

It is sad that they say there is not room in prison for hard-core criminals but they put people like that in prison it doesn’t make sense

  • @susanlong8978

I hope They get released!!z This was outrageous.. its a corrupt system. Dear God HELP them!

  • @49Connie

Just when you think the government couldn’t get any more crooked they show you they can! I think they got a raw deal. How did their lawyers miss all this during trial???

  • @rachelgwoleh3665

Good narrative, i am interested in the Christie case.

  • @lindasmith1348

They totally deserve a new trail it is a fact that the evidence that was presented was al l should have not been used but was should have been grounds for a miss trail .

  • @mariahgipson2700

If they are guilty just make them pay the money back! No need for this blue collar family to go through this! I'm sure usa will fit the bill ! And yes it was some shady things that went on! But yall know Julie and Todd won't hurt anyone! They have a bunch of haters even on the jury!

  • @mariahgipson2700

Set them free they just were a little greedy, they are not Murders omg what has the world come too!

  • @jeancecil1246

They did the crime. They should do the time.

  • @max-jayderomero7743

It is really hard to have sympathy for these folks as I find them so repulsive

  • @fishingexplorationeastcoas1346

They got more time than bank robbers. Rediculious

  • @princecatstarr102

I absolutely would love to hear more about all appeals process.. I feel they were convicted unfairly.. ..

  • @rachelhendricks2998

They also had no remorse and acted like they were innocent the entire time…regardless of what the law is that never helps you when you act that way!
