I’ve never forgotten his death. Remember hearing about it on the radio

  • @thespottedleaf584

Thank you so much for breaking this down and covering it. This was such a huge part of my teen years and I'd love to see Pac's family get justice

  • @KylaFuller

It’s sad that there are two people out of a group of like 10 collectively still alive and they’re in jail. It can’t possibly be worth it. Had those people not died, he’d likely be dead. Talk about snitching, a book? That’s like handing over group chat access to an outsider. His willingness to talk to the feds to save himself makes me wonder how many other pots he had his hand in and how many others died at his hands both directly and indirectly

  • @jackiewatkins5611

You do a great job explaining what is going on at a layman's level.

17:50 Never expected to finally understand a Smi77y/Smitty meme (he’s a gaming YouTuber) from an Emily episode!😂

  • @natirasohumana

But the retired cop who was still investigating the case in 2006 also released a book in 2011 and something and he knew Keefe D and Orlando did it. The guys in the other car saw Keefe and Orlando. Keefe was talking about that before his book. It has been out for the longest time

  • @stephss

I'm flabbergasted how someone can tell on themselves, and not have anxiety over the blowback. Like, did his delusional entitlement completely overrun his sense of self preservation, all for clout and fame? I just don't get it…. Like, this book took time to make, and it's been available for years now….and crickets up to this point? This sounds like weird mind games. How is this justice?

  • @usakiwi1986

I LIVED IN LAS VEGAS FROM 95 TILL 99 AND WORKED ON A MUSIC VIDEO WITH TUPAC AND SNOOP DOG, WEEKS BEFORE TUPAC WAS KILLED. THEY HAD ALL OF US LINE UP OUTSIDE A NIGHTCLUB THEN AFTER LETTING EVERYONE IN, THEY MADE AN ANNOUNCEMENT THAT DUE TO POTENTIOAL GUN CHARGES FOR SNOOP DOG, THEY MADE US ALL LEAVE THE CLUB, GET BACK IN LINE AND USED METAL DETECTORS ON ALL OF US TO GET BACK IN TO MAKE SURE NO ONE HAD A GUN.

  • @garethcraig8902

This case was solved some time ago. It is freaking obvious at the time who was responsible. People just never spoke up and kept the code of the streets until this moron started blabbing. I really hope he gets found guilty.

  • @podunkcitizen2562

I know nothing about guns but the police probably don't think the bullet casings came from that night. They are looking to see if bullet casings and ammo matches the type of ammo used in the murder. If bullet casings were left at the scene and weren't ejected within the shooter's car, they can see if casings or bullets match the casings or bullets at the scene. It would be stupid of him to keep the murder weapon and similar ammo after all these years.

The timing is something else. "Can a brother get a little peace? There's war in the streets and a war in the middle east." 💀

  • @catherinechurchill4811

So glad this is finally getting some action. But I have no problem seeing sug where he is. Tupac deserves some justice.

  • @c_jo_b

So-o-o…you still dropping videos these days??

  • @bijougirl12

Been a long time coming for justice. Interestingly, I ran across the movie City of Lies with Johnny Depp about the detective who worked on the murder of Notorious B.I.G., the LAPD and Death Row records connection. Wondering what you might have heard during your time as DA and if you have seen the movie?

  • @PistolPackinBum

Can you please please please cover the take care of may trial

  • @molliwilson5639

Happy day after 30 years! RIP Tupac

  • @diegofe9941

This case was interesting to learn about. Can we get a podcast video about the 4 tati lawsuits? ❤

  • @averygilbert6222

Putting this here in case anyone sees and can help 😅😅
I'm trying to watch past videos from Emily but I'm confused about the order of some videos. Some videos aren't in the playlists and I am not sure about where they fit in. Is there somewhere that lists out all the videos in order????

  • @StElmosFire550

Do you feel Sug Knight had anything to do with this arrest ?

  • @heathertapper-gq6pk

why are some of you blaming puffy when cops said the resr are dead

  • @mellchiril

So… dude's not the smartest cookie in the jar, got it.

  • @sab3295

How could you nor talk about this case?? I texted my friend we know he's not hanging out With Elvis.

  • @kaitlynashleyful

This is so fascinating Emily. I love your nuanced perspective on the culture and the law. Please cover this, I'll listen to everything.

  • @MADEbySOUL

It is fascinating how money, fame, and overall connection to a legendary figure lead to a man throw out self preservation. Perhaps he thought his fed deal gave him immunity or statutes of limitations would play a part. He should know a target would be on his back because of gang culture. The death of Tupac hits the community still so he should know people either wanting the fame or revenge for Tupac would seek him out.

"Don't publish a book on a criminal fucking conspiracy." – Stringer Bell, probably.

  • @benniebella

Do we have to have the app in order to get the notifications because email notifications stopped for me. I was getting them fine through email
I don't really want to put any more apps on my phone.

  • @lucy9364

Straight up when I saw Runkle's video on this last week I was flawed. For anyone born/living through the 90s this is nutty. We all knew who it was but I straight up never thought they'd get caught

  • @taimao2

I was 10 when he died. I was not really exposed to Tupac until years later.
