As a highly detailed crime investigator, it is clear that the case of Alexis Avila is one that is filled with shocking and unbelievable details. From the interrogation footage to the events leading up to the discovery of the newborn baby in the dumpster, every aspect of this case is deeply disturbing.

The fact that Alexis attempted to cover up her pregnancy, gave birth in her home alone, and then disposed of her baby in a trash bag shows a level of callousness and disregard for human life that is difficult to comprehend. The fact that she now claims she blacked out and has no memory of her actions only adds to the complexity of this troubling case.

The details of this case, while heartbreaking, shed light on the harsh realities of some individuals’ mindset when faced with an unexpected pregnancy. It also raises questions about the mental health and emotional state of the individuals involved.

Ultimately, the conviction and sentencing of Alexis serves as a reminder of the consequences of such heinous actions. The appeal filed by her attorneys may be a legal process, but the fact remains that the impact of her actions will have long-lasting repercussions.

In the end, it is clear that cases like these highlight the need for more awareness, education, and support for individuals facing unwanted pregnancies, and the importance of addressing mental health issues that may contribute to such tragic outcomes.

Hi 10 to LIFERS! Just a quick note on why you might notice more ads in SERIAL audio podcasts compared to my traditional YouTube videos. Podcasts rely on ads to keep content free & pods typically have more ads than a single YT video, and the placement is more spread out. When we export the podcast to video, those placements stay consistent. Thanks for understanding that sponsors make it all possible and help keep things free. 🙂

  • @CuntNuggets

Abortions need to be legal and free.

  • @CuntNuggets

It angers me that she got away with this.

  • @deniseadkins2901

She made choices. She chose to have sex. She chose to get rid of the evidence of said pregnancy. She's guilty no matter her age.

  • @fourfurrypotatoes

This makes me want to cry. Her baby didn't deserve that. No one does.

  • @CrunkKitty1

My heart goes out to the people who found the baby. I have no idea how I would react and the confusion and discomfort on how they are speaking is so understandable. I wouldn’t know how to speak or what to say if I found this.

  • @trumpypadron5412

All these bk found out how to have sex huh … But no idea about getting pregnant funny

  • @johnettereynolds6507

Don’t forget the cheerleader who killed and buried her baby
 Brooke Skylar Richardson

  • @chrissy3735

I got pregnant at 17 I was terrified but told my parents they were upset obviously but I couldn’t imagine not having told them and then discarding a newborn in the trash 💔 to anyone younger reading this there are so many options out there do not throw out or kill your newborns 😱

  • @rage_188

In the 911 call you can hear the baby make a noise, that just broke me. Shes a vile creature to be able to literally THROW a baby in a dumpster. She could have just left him at a hospital….

  • @beverlyledbetter4906

How is it that these girls don't know that they're pregnant?? Don't they feel the baby kicking??? I'm not buying this!😒

  • @user-sh8ih9mb6l

Omgosh si similar to the other case with the girl in the hospital! Like same voice almost!!!

  • @brmcyl

We've got to be open and educate young people about the consequences of their actions. I have one solution for these young girls who become pregnant..ADOPTION!
My husband and i couldn't have a baby shortly after we were married many years ago ..Thank God as difficult it was for a mother to give up her baby..we were able to adopt our handsome son and raise him in a loving & happy home!! In a few days, it will be 18 years ago that we picked our baby boy up and he's been flourishing ever since & us as parents as well. Thank God his biological mother had the courage to believe someone was out there & could care for her baby in her absence. Our lives changed FOREVER!!! BEST day of our lives. Girls…have your baby & give it up for adoption & save a life!!!

  • @kimberlyel82

14:23 this officer was being so kind and empathetic! What a good guy! Cause I don’t know if I could have been so sweet. I wouldn’t have been mean cause girls are so fearful of disappointing their parents by getting pregnant at a young age

  • @Sputterbugz

that kid has one hell of an origin story

  • @amberschalk8937

I got pregnant at 14, and again at 16. I raised my girls. My mom helped while I finished up my high school education, but most of it fell on me, as it should. I can't feel sympathy for her situation. I was scared beyond belief at 14, and once I got pregnant again, I had no idea how I was going to handle 2 at such a young age, but STILL, this thought NEVER even crossed my mind. And even at 14 I knew enough to know this is wrong, so her excuse about just turning 18 is a joke. The way she acted in her interrogation made her sound so stupid, honestly.

  • @ladyblackbgb

I wonder how many babies are dumped and never found. đŸ„ș

  • @kylietackett7626

Im sorry but when she was saying "i knew but i didnt know" i feel like she was trying to aay "i had a feeling" but she also seems to lack a severe amount of common sense or education so maybe it was hard for her to put it into words… either way ridiculous.

  • @kkilla14

i'm sick , i cannot fathom why people do this.

  • @StoolSamples

I'm so gald the baby survived. I can't believe how she just flung the bag I to that dumpster like it was trash. That poor baby. I just don't know how ppl can do this. Selfish

  • @spooldup4431

We got a safe haven baby box at a fire station in Madison Alabama less than 3 months ago and it’s already received 2 babies. Safe haven boxes save lives

  • @mullettmullett

Sometimes, if you push really hard. You can poop out of your vagina. I understand her confusion.
Join us next Wednesday with a brand new episode of,
'Is it a baby, or is it poop?!'
Re da pa doo PA PA doo doo doo!

  • @randishelton8493

You usually stop your period most of your pregnancy so I don't buy it she didn't know and she needed something with her to cut umbilical cord

  • @heatherjackson2520

Although I would never even imagine doing anything anywhere similar and have an adult and teenage sons, I was only 18 with my 1st pregnancy and I was terrified of telling my mother. and she did ruin my life due to it. I was 26 with my second pregnancy but had been laid off months earlier and struggling to find a job so I was even terrified of telling her the second time. So definitely by all means not saying it's ok and many better measures can be taken but that can be a real reason.

  • @jacquelineyoung1387

I think to deter something like this from happening again they just should not be out here having sex but then how can you prevent that because if they're not around their parents they're going to have sex my thing is bite the bullet tell your parents and deal with the reaction afterwards that way it will keep you out of prison and why is it every time you turn around you're hearing about somebody throwing away a baby for someone killing babies did not ask to be here they did not ask to be in this world when I got pregnant for the very it was scary but I know I was going to be okay and then then I was also in the dark place at that time too very dark place I did something that I should not have did to cause me to wear I had to get an abortion but I learned my lesson from that and when I got pregnant the second time I wasn't afraid to let my mom know that I was pregnant and she was fine with it and we dealt with it we dealt with it unfortunately I carried a full-term and full term baby and. I lost it I had a stillbirthof course it messed me up for a while I recovered as the years went by the pain got less and less but nevertheless I still think about him every day and what type of man he would have been today if he would have survived but I say that to say never be afraid to tell someone that you're pregnant having giving birth and getting rid of it is never the solution let someone know that way it would keep you out of prison and out of jail

  • @Emily-ti4ls

Why do these girls keep saying how they didn’t know about the pregnancy
it has nothing to do with her throwing the baby away & the other girl throwing hers away in the hospital smh

  • @Emily-ti4ls

These moms need to stop coddling their grown ass kids wtf

  • @Emily-ti4ls

They don’t even see these babies as real human beings that’s crazy

  • @Emily-ti4ls

Why does this girl and the other girl who threw her baby in hospital trash have similar voices 😼

  • @Emily-ti4ls

The fact that she swung the bag and didn’t even place him down nicely is so sad to see

  • @ryannmckenna

They look similar and sound similar
and they both did heinous things to their poor, innocent children đŸ˜Ș

  • @michelleallred8521

Since when is "i don't remember" a freaking excuse for attempted murder

  • @michelleallred8521

Seeing her just fling that sweet baby just makes me cringe

  • @michelleallred8521

But I just turned 18 38yrs ago, so can I get away w something?!?!?!

  • @michelleallred8521

And the way she literally laughs while telling about what she did to this baby is disgusting

  • @michelleallred8521

Obsessed w poop. Good grief! She tossed that sweet baby in the garbage one handed like a bag of freaking used cat litter!! She seems like she's got mental issues. Yoy don't have to fear pregnancy if you prevent the pregnancy!!!! And to say "if he's ok then I want IT"?!?!?! Seriously!! "Even if I was in a panic when I just turned 18?!??!". Omg sorry not sorry, but ZERO sympathy

  • @vrmomoffour9446

This is irritating!! That police officer is a better person than me. At 11, 12, 13
you know it’s wrong so her saying she’s “just 18” means NOTHING!! She knew better. Her acting is horrible. She’s stupid or not.

  • @samanthasabin4572

that poor cop was trying so hard to remain calm during that interrogation

  • @drama2u

How is she ok medically after having the baby on her own?

  • @drama2u

I don’t doubt that she was scared. But everyone needs to be responsible for what they have caused.

  • @drama2u

Can schools please educate our teens about pregnancy prevention and pregnancy responsibilities and ask for assistance somewhere safe.

  • @user-ig2ul7kq7m

It’s these type of parents that are to blame

  • @andone9561

I’m glad I pay for YouTube only to be bombarded with your ads. Smfh

  • @JessicaGarcia-jk9db

No I think she meant the hole was so open that she could stick her hand in it

  • @caseycruisers7740

So she could have killed the baby while in the womb but not immediately after? Both situations are murder. Make it make sense!

  • @elizabethpolson8137

These people acting like there is a huge difference between 17 to 18 considering its a few weeks from one to another. Like do just a little research and give that baby up or get an abortion take responsibility not throwing them away.
