@DINAHLUCIA
Rewatched this series. One of your best, I think!
@TheShankari33
I appreciate the long stories. Thankyou.
@TheShankari33
I think there could be a connection between all the lost important evidence and the private DNA information. Perhaps the DNA sample indicated a family connection to police or politicians or super rich families with political pull. Just a thought. 😮
@JayceWing
A complete miscarriage of Justice…Stephanie…you're the best… I hope everyone has learned by now, never ever talk to the police without a lawyer, whether you're innocent or guilty if I have learned nothing else… I've learned that from you and Derek.
@jesicabrown8732
I think the FBI won't give you the name because they don't want you to know who the real killer is.
@alishavillard689
What a 💩 show of an investigation!
@dancesmokesmile344
I heard you said that in part 2 too, doesn’t el Diablo means the devil, not the boogeyman? Idk, most of my family is Spanish speaking and they’ve never translated it to the boogeyman to me at least, I’ve always heard the devil. But is the boogeyman pretty much the same as the devil? I’m not from an English speaking country and I guess I always just assumed they were pretty different (the devil and the boogeyman) 😅 Idk, I’m confused now (rewatching old videos, because I’m sick, and I like listening to your videos when I’m sick, haha)
@nbooch73
Imagine how many lives have been affected becuase of one murder! One man was accused & convicted which changed his life forever! He’ll never be the same ! These investigators are criminals themselves! This is so sad ! What a sad case 😞
@kristyreynoldsapaintersdau9016
So wrong what happened here
@SirenOffspring
I don't understand why these people continue with these interrogations when they are not even under arrest. Why do they stay for hours and hours?
@lucylledanyelle8923
Anyone else wondering if the cop who magically solved multiple cases through “confessions” has an alibi? I mean… 🤷🏻♀️ FBI won’t tell what they know, maybe because their fellow law enforcement officer who was reinstated after being fired and then receiving multiple awards and commendations would be uber embarrassing? I don’t know, but he’s the only person in this case that really stands out as super suspicious to me. Especially after he likes to take credit for getting suspects confessing to crimes but this one time he preps a suspect for his partner to go in and get the confession and not take the credit for himself. Hmm…

I think it was the two sitting the yogurt shop and the guy in the business next door. I think they worked together
@chrisswanson5279
Here’s what happened. The guy next door was using the crawl space to get some after hours ice cream. He didn’t know about the three bandits and they didn’t know about him. But it worked precisely timed trashed. When the three decided to do what they did, the guy next door did hear something at first and decided to go investigate in the crawl space but while up there was struck with fear as what was happening below unfolded. He was smart, and was afraid at the same time. He knew that police would finger him so he went the extra mile and locked the door after the bandits were gone, and burned his way out thinking evidence of him even knowing would be gone. That’s why it’s unique, that’s why the burn patterns were weird and why the key in the door was a point to be noted. He is in some way involved with fbi or something of the sort without diving into it too deep. It is layered indeed but it is also two pronged.
@MaryKormondy-ly4cv
I seriously think it was either the party store owner or someone off the highway
@babesmariba
Sneaking into the movies can mean that you convince the ticket seller that you're 18, not necessarily sneaking in through a side door or something
@Pablo-Pickasso
Not gonna lie when I was a teen I was just like that. Maybe not stealing cars but all the other stuff. Definitely a Giant leap from being a juvenile delinquent and committing a heinous quadruple murders.
@critical-goat363
Police Stations SERIOUSLY need to invest in cameras with better audio quality. The warbling at 46:30 is literally painful to try to listen to.
@lindc1070
Falsely charging someone with a capital crime is like commiting murder. Fortunately the death penalty was overturned.
@xTashleyx
I wonder if this case will be solved now that we have places like Othram that use databases where people donate their DNA profile so they can finally catch at least one of them…
@katmack4215
Talk about "Railroaded"..🙄 jeeze!!
@katmack4215
Talked to Detectives many,many times,over the years,voluntarily..passed polygraph,their gun was tested twice,and twice it was eliminated 🤨 wtf are these Detectives doing!! Ugh
"Oh,I know..let's hypnotize this guy"..🙄
@kalel311superman9
pig headed investigators and so narrow minded, incompetent donkeys they were so focused on getting a conviction they probably got the wrong people and the real killers got away , and how much money can you really take from a yogurt shop? i doubt they make millions or even thousands or any amount worth taking either way everyone knows stealing is a crime Love your work stephanie.,well the crips do wear blue bandanas
@M_Oz_
Completely stupid that they don't go further with the DNA string hit.
@michellekincaid5499
I live between Austin & San Antonio off 35. Moved here a few years ago from Houston. I have been binging on your videos for the past week & coincidentally was listening to this one on my drive to the airport in Austin to pick up company. So it was kinda weird & I couldn't help wondering how far away I was from that Hillside shopping center. Turns out it's on the north side of town so I was no where near it. It's ashame how Hector coerced confessions from so many people & was proud of himself. Makes you wonder how many people have been wrongly convicted in this country. There are many Hectors out there.
@vinragemania9312
Well if this doesn't convince you the legal system is messed up nothing will …..
@FrankC71
FBI will not share if it is a Political Families
@FrankC71
This video is for Content, no new info, if someone wanted they could find all this info on the net.
@gerrisorg8780
I have no idea who could have committed the murders but I don't believe those four boys had anything to do with it I really just think the cops kind of coerced false confessions
@OddWomanOut_Pi81
Uuuugh! I gotta stop watching this kinda stuff…Stefanie, you're wonderful and I'm in awe of the amount of detail and care u put into these true crime documentaries, but GIRL…All these do is leave me pissed off with a brain full of overworked synapses.
I AM DISGUSTED.
The way this case was botched would be comical if it wasn't so tragic… and that bs tidbit at the end regarding the FBI refusing to release the identity of that DNA profile?!? 🤨 Are u kidding me?! 😡
@preesi1403
If people were in the crawl space and the accelerant was on the upper part of the room. There ya go. Killer put the accelerant in the room while he was still in the ceiling.
@nanablooms
Cute hurr
@lauren9004
This is so tragic. Maurice was murdered btw. Eff APD and detective Pulanco and the other one that coerced a confession from Michael Scott later on.
@mfp-optic8257
Investigators worked so hard to get a confession…why? Now they won’t share the DNA evidence that they have…is that because it’s a LEO? Seems pretty sus to me…just sayin.
@steelhurricane4041
I think the boys didn't commit the crime. Kids on drugs and deliquescent. Someone else.
@l.w.paradis2108
Parents, two things to tell your kids:
1. Police can lie to you and manipulate you, but it's illegal for you to lie to them. Hence don't talk to them.
2. If you frequent crazy sh*t druggie people, they may implicate you in a murder someday. Just like these poor girls died as a matter of horrible chance, you can end up in prison or worse, as a matter of chance — only you have some control. You can stay away from these creeps.
@valerieteahan-tebby2440
Catching up on stories I have missed in the last few years I LOVE your hair curly you look sooo beautiful
@Morbid.Injustice
We're one of the boys ever described as the one weird boy that the ex marine saw go to the bathroom?? The one that bought the sprite?
