I’m on methadone
Methadone is treatment… it’s not ideal for people who don’t understand addiction but it is so helpful for a lot of addicts!
When u get on methadone you taper off of it in order to avoid heavy withdrawals and the medication is paired with counseling and so on…
It is for people who are addicted to pain pills or H… (a lot of people assume it is for meth and no it is not)
However with all that being said a lot of people consider being on methadone as still being on drugs which yes and no… yes methadone is a “drug” but it is prescribed and controlled unlike anything else from the streets etc… you still withdraw if u don’t have your methadone hence why u have to taper off of it…
It really helps people who have a hard time mentally and physically with getting clean!
It can also be abused however if taken right and done with the counseling it can be very helpful and has helped many people get clean
It saved my life!

Methadone centers will test you and if she’s going every couple weeks it’s more likely she was still clean. You don’t get that many bottles when you’re not clean for a long time! I’ve been on it before… why in the world would she be taking that big ol lock box with her if she wasn’t still on it?

What a devastating case. I feel so sad for Nicole's children no matter if they are grown. That man killed her and he knows he did. Very had for me to understand that a woman would really want to remove another woman this bad. She should be ashamed of herself. If a man really wants a woman he can be a man and make this decision without being given an ultimatum. I pray Nicole's family find her and place her at rest. Truly respect for the two men who finally saw this case through. Rest in peace.

Taking methadone is being on a treatment for painkillers doctors give you methadone so you can wean off of painkillers so she was under treatment for her addiction. Educate yourself about that because I am on methadone because I was on painkillers for years and now I am getting weaned off the methadone I’m feeling great

I have 0 sympathy for Amber. The reason is it's understandable if she said choose. It's understandable to a point if she said I'd rather you not have contact with her anymore. But telling him to evict them from the mobile home when she knew full well Nicole was unwell and had 3 children shows me everything I need to know about Amber. Through him, and due to her demands, she also got what she so richly deserved. That poor baby. With parents like that …
