Her life was so hard, but her and her sister were warriors. My life is so much like hers, right down to the name…..but I'm so thankful my father loved my sister and me and worked his ass off to make sure our mom didn't hurt us. I feel so sad hearing this…yet another child utterly failed by every adult in her life.

Reason 1,484 that I left Houston. IT IS NOT SAFE FOR ANY WOMAN. It wasn't for me and I was not an escort . All I did was pick up a drunk friend and get her home safe. Thankfully I accomplished that much.

They don’t care abt sex workers sadly 🙁 I’m a dancer and had a friend go out to Houston she was kidnapped and murdered walking to her car from the club and it wasn’t until her family hired a private investigator we found out who did it 🙁 tbh I think a go fund me and private investigator is their best bet !

Since nobody else is going to say it, I will… that funeral home is DISGUSTING. Just embalm the girl, she was murdered and her family is far away and low income FFS. It wouldn't have bankrupt them.

Thank you so much for covering Shelbey's case. I haven't seen much coverage of it and that breaks my heart. It seems true crime content creators don't want to spend time looking into cases like this. The day is coming – someone has to know this guy.

You would THINK all of the money her pimp… I mean "boyfriend" was collecting and living his best life off of .. while she lived a lonely and sad nightmare, subjecting her body all day, every day… could have been used to give her A PROPER FUNERAL AND SERVICE… disgusting. BET he had a new car, with rims and the best system, wearing the best clothes and shoes, drinking and eating like a king off the $$ he got from trafficking Shelby. Pitiful. Why the hell would it take 4 months to release the surveillance footage of the suspect?! If it was done right away, people that passed him in the area could have remembered since it would be fresh in their mind. But nearly a half a year later people arent going to think about that or remember a pbasic encounter. With the suspect being suspected of either being a cop/military, I can't help but think it was done deliberately. Almost seems like a cover up going on here..

That guy seems like a hit definitely the fact no one who he “recognises” him to come forward in 8 years is a big tell he most likely had left the country now his facial identity is out. To kill someone so clean quick and precise in my own opinion isn’t a serial killer but a dangerous one extremely hence why making it onto FBI top wanted more or less. Scary world.
