Well done. I subscribed and liked. Some people firmly believe that Kirk Douglas was capable of much more villainous behavior than anyone would imagine. Thank you for the videos.

  • @zombiechicken7114

So maybe the ex plus the mafia connection caused this?!

  • @zombiechicken7114

I loathe the hypocrisy of regularly attending a nightclub, meeting a showgirl there, and marrying them but then looking down on the showgirls. They both were clueless about each others ambitions and crazy to get married.

  • @melissasaint3283

40:00 isnt it weird that so many creeps look exactly like creeps?

  • @mrlake8808

It always fascinates me that you can watch a dozen videos on one subject and learn something new from each one. I've researched the Jean Spangler case for a while and this was the first time I heard about her ex-husband appearing with scratches on his face and about his night-time boat trip.

  • @bigkel1901

Hi Stephanie, you should do more Vintage Mystery videos. I have rewatched this video and Typhoid Mary 😍🥰✌️❤️

  • @michhaynes7272

Piece of crap ex husband and new wife! She clearly knew what he had done as she lied for him. Horrible couple and poor girl she has every right to know about her mother and to know her grandmother.

  • @michhaynes7272

That cult what a surprise! I hate that cult and don't understand why so many people help them continue as they are and get away with all they do.

  • @jessiroseanne

I think her ex husband did it.

  • @creative2716

Omgosh, she could have been your doppleganger!

  • @bobbystanley8580

    Excellent presentation

  • @lilmissjoodypoody

Laura was dating Danny Master son’s brother Chris, who played the oldest son/brother in Malcolm in the Middle. So I think there’s a 2 prong reason for her to protect him (which is disgusting to stand behind a serial rapist!). And yes, she’s the worst, judging by her actions. Gross.

  • @gizmofoamy

Soooo basically Jonah Hill is the reincarnation of this Dexter guy?

  • @catholicfemininity2126

Poor Poor Jean, I pray she got a chance to repent from her sins before she was taken away, and I pray for the daughter and repentance of the killer (if there was one), or repentance of the ab0rtionist if she died for that reason.

  • @catholicfemininity2126

I'm sorry, but this is why the bible says don't marry anyone you're not equally yolked with. I think 'conservative' guy was a fool for marrying her in the first place, and same with her… why do people do that? I don't get it.

  • @kathyjensen6773

The ex husband theory sounds most plausible to me

  • @kathyjensen6773

I think it's still dumb that Laura prepon wouldn't let property be searched if there is possible dead bodies buried no matter who they might be what a piece of crap person

  • @blessedabundance6266

I was married to Dr. George Hodels grandson, by his daughter Tamar.
He kept this all a secret from me until his sister Fauna movie was picked up as a series.
TRULY A FKD UP FAMILY !!!!

  • @angelawidner1453

And as of today, abortion has killed millions of kids. But we don't care about that do we? 🤔🙄🤦‍♀️

  • @jamieangelis1333

    " Cult..I mean !!! OH HOW I LOVE YOU ❤️

  • @marniekilbourne608

Have you ever considered the Leo Frank case? It took place 1913-1915 in Atlanta.

  • @nahhanilacasse6186

has the possibility ever been considered that the note left in her purse was never actually written by her? Could it have been planted as a way to throw the entire investigation off?

  • @kristyong4386

Somehow this video popped up in my suggested vids and I’ve never seen it! I thought I’d watched them all. Stephanie I loved your reenactment 😂 You should definately do them from time to time 😉

  • @stacymacdonald440

What if they were escorting Jean Spangler to Mexico for an abortion, and Mickey saw thus as an opportunity to get rid of problems Mexico was wild then also.

  • @mandykeith129

"I'm just kidding. I'm just joking"… lmao! Love this adorable woman!

  • @calken546

Watch the Mini Serials "I Am The Night."

  • @calken546

The Cult of Scientology is more like it.

  • @dennismitchell5414

My money is on the Kirk Douglas , Dr. Scott , abortion theory.

  • @lexiconwell6976

Used to look up to Laura Prepon, especially in her "That 70s Show" days. I just can't believe that she'd deny access to her property if dogs allerted to HUMAN DECOMPOSITION! The answers those grounds could give…i can't imagine not allowing people closure over something like that.

  • @rachelmolina986

Stephanie, you look lovely in lavender 😍

  • @valeriewalker1592

I'm currently hooked on your videos. I watched the Casey Anthony case, Black Dahlia and this one and Jon Benet today. You do a great job narrating and love the details you give.

  • @annachristinanotyet4678

Hollywood has always been Hollywood =) I guess it's a pool of the "Not so good." But we still love their Art to this day oh what may?

  • @meegansandberg8990

That Prepon lady wouldn't let police dig on her property because the Church of Scientology has some of their victim's bodies buried there. My daughter lives close to their headquarters in Florida. She says people who leave the cult just disappear. Years ago, a woman ran out of the headquarters building screaming, naked, and incoherent. Scary stuff. You were smart to backpedle like that. Scientology is powerful and dangerous.

  • @rubyflipper

My dad's family has lived in LA like forever and it was a different world back then. There was MUCH more empty space and undeveloped areas where someone could have disposed of someone. Benner lived a very good life for many many years after this. I don't think he had much to do with this. I DO think Kirk had far more involvement.

  • @rubyflipper

Sadly, it seems she would have been better off with Dexter. He was her baby's bio father, and she would have avoided a bunch of horrible people and things….

  • @rubyflipper

My thought is that slimy crap Kirk Douglas knew something about Spangler's vanishing. Another thought, and I am NOT blaming the victim. Spangler was living a very risky life. Made many bad choices.

  • @pr0cessa

This seems especially timely now – with the walkback of roe v Wade

  • @tristanbohlmann

Plot twist – What if the human decomposition found in soil from Laura Prepon's property is from the body of Shelly Miscavige (Wife of Scientology leader David Miscavige).

  • @nicoleweiler1105

The fact that you used the word "fastidious" in this video made my day. Love it. Fastidious and precise, she's a killer queen! (Anyone who gets that reference, I love you).

  • @sharonm.t.2492

Sorry but I'm pretty sure that George Hoedel didn't kill Elizabeth Short. I have Steve Hoedel's book and the only connection to The Black Dahlia was a couple of photos of girls with Black Hair and light skin that had been in George's possessions that Steve came across and suddenly Steve gets the idea that one of those girls was Elizabeth Short. Neither looked anything like Elizabeth. Hoedel was a physician but that's also about it. That's the only reason George was on the Black Dahlia suspect list. Granted, George was a weirdo. But, Steve wanted to sell books. He hated his father. 🙄

  • @ericasylva2767

So never knew how shit of a person Laura was. Yikes

  • @ericasylva2767

Ok but Stephanie you look like a star in that sepia tone! Utterly gorgeous!

  • @jessr6189

    ❤️🌹👍🌹❤️

  • @catalinaWineMixerfan

great video Stephanie!!😁 I've researched this case heavily and I've come to the conclusion imo that the father was Kirk Douglas and indeed she was planning to get an abortion probably the next day or while her mother was away on her trip…but then that Night she disappeared she met with her Ex husband and were going to discuss missed child support payments and a fight ensued. Dexter killed her in a fit of rage, disposed of her, and threw her purse in that canyon. he didnt care what the contents were in her purse obviously. she had no money, her sister said she was broke and only had a silver dollar in her purse and it was still in there when the purse was found. I think Dexter really in his mind thought his daughter was better off without her mother sadly. I also think the reason she "waited" for up to 2 hours in the market bc she was waiting for Dexter, in anticipation she would receive that money she was owed for child support. she really needed that money.

  • @aoky9179

watching this in 2022 when roe v wade got over turned..

  • @nicolechannel3302

I wonder if Christine has ever surfaced as an adult or learned the truth about her parents.
