Not sure if you've done it and I missed it or if you're planning on doing it, but after watching Murder on Middle Beach I'm so interested to see an episode somewhere.. anywhere 😉😉 about it. I want to know who everyone else thinks did it.
Good job on this one…I love the new background!

As a psychologist of many years I can say that no, you can't tell that the children were very loved .. that's not to say there was no love. But there was clearly great suffering with them drinking and going off the rails. I think that apart from food and clothing, what neglect can refer to often is emotional neglect and it's important to not focus on only mothering. The father was an alcoholic so being 'happy' is not accurate. Alcoholism is a sign of emotional trauma. Being left by a father is a major trauma. There are clearly serious emotional and psychological problems in the family.
You obviously put a lot of effort into your true crime podcast however as with many, I would strongly encourage psychological research. Alcoholism is not a gene, it's a way of coping with psychological distress.

    12:21 now that’s a name …wheew

So I want to say wow that's crazy story so far but I can't because my ex-husband actually drained 84,000 out of my kids is college fund that my stepdad set up for them crazy similarity in the monetary I found out 4 months after he left me that he started taking the money out for his personal use. I only found out when the divorce proceedings had begun and he had to submit all his financials for discovery. He was held in contempt because he did not want to hand that stuff over.
I'm still alive today to tell the story he did a whole bunch of other crazy s*** as well.. but he did have a good laugh at my expense because I was wondering why he took out insurance policies on me.
    Can't wait for part 2

This type of shenanigans with control sounds just like most airline pilots. No one really talks about it. I am sure that any control freak is the same. Most are narcissistic.

35:07 i have told all my children, even my son, you can NEVER NEVER NEVER depend on someone else to take care of you, to pay the bills, to put food on the table, to put a roof over your head.

**The only person you can trust to do these things for you is yourself.

  • @REESIEBOO13

I absolutely love you, I just HATE the way you say "documentary"🙆🏽‍♀️

  • @catq6864

I know this is an old video, but I appreciate you emphasizing that fighting, screaming etc. in a family can cause mental health problems and emotional problems in children. My father is a choleric and I suffered from anorexia, anxiety and cPTSD (after they first thought I had borderline). Also my dad forced me to study for hours after school.. this whole case is so sad.

That being said.. my dad now wonders why I don’t like to visit them.. well. I’m doing well now, btw. ☺️

  • @vladdyydaddy

Sandy's talks on YouTube helped me soooo much and your videos are very informative.

Closing comments; who's your number one suspect?

So very complicated as I absorbed all the information. Moments that pinged in my brain as I watched.
    1. Barbara thinks the court date time has changed.
    2. Allie (sp?) wanting to get out of school and then calling Conway.
    3. Allie and the "this is a crime scene" comment, along with the CPR .
    4. Agree someone did call Barbara and told her the court time was changed. Who?

I think Ally suspected, knew, or feared this was going to happen that morning. She was in a panic at school. Did she arrange for someone to make that call to her mom? If so, did she do so to help Conway or her dad? If so did she understand the real reason why?

  • @Emma-lb1vf

In child support cases, the money should be automatically deducted from the salary so that they don't do such crap.

  • @mtrudo

This happened in my hometown. I remember when it happened. Madison is such a nice person and he really deserves answers. It’s really such a small town you never would think anything like that would happen here. I know everyone says that but, it’s really sooo small

  • @cicilg

You can't pay child support when you make over 100,000 a year? What a total piece of shit.

  • @irenestrmnss4496

JEFF WAS VERY RICH BUT DID NOT WANT TO PAY CHILD SUPPORT ????

  • @kathymccarthy5264

The money he was ordered to pay her was outrageous. He didnt have that kind of money, based on the salary he was making–

  • @nbooch73

Wow when you were saying about staying in abusive relationships due to being a mom so you can’t leave ! I finally worked my way up & years later I’m supporting myself ❤️❤️❤️

  • @smiley32190art

more than halfway in I remembered who the husband looks exactly like, the host of the old Supermarket Sweep, David Ruprecht

  • @jacistjohn7342

I'm at the 50.12 mark and my question is , the daughter, does she have access to cash? I would bet she does…..

  • @robertboggs3546

I would love to get your views on the Hatfields and McCoys feud during the late 1800s. I know it’s a bit different than your usual discussions.

  • @miaspadotto6376

I know you can’t say this so I’ll say it for you, “this man is a massive piece of murderous shit”!

  • @cassrose4444

Witnessing abuse affects kids more than you would think. When i hear a loud sudden noise i get insanely anxious then angry immediately after the anxiety. I also jump really easy. I hate it. My dad beat my mom up every single day in front of us until i was 5 years old and she ran away with us. That mixed with the loud screaming really traumatized me.

Another thing i realized i picked up from abuse was that i used to resort to violence immediately when someone makes me mad. I dont do this anymore but when i was a teenager through early 20s i would always wanna fight people its crazy..
The older i get the more things i notice the way the abuse has affected me.

  • @sallyh.6362

I was married to a S of a B similar Jeffrey, with a father in law just like him, and they banded together to try and frame me, break me, drive me crazy, when we split, simply to avoid paying child support, and the bold faced lies and gross manipulations they would pull, without shame, was shocking. I wouldn’t believe anything that comes out of Jeffrey’s mouth and and I think he’s totally shady. How he drives his own daughter into the hospital, then HE diagnoses her with a personality disorder, using it to discredit anything negative she might say about him, (but allowing anything positive she might say to be true) because he’s labeled her as mentally unstable and unreliable, is a textbook example of gaslighting and extremely despicable.

  • @kimberlypainter5169

47:48 mins in, and it seems like her daughter is involved…. In my opinion….

  • @kimberlypainter5169

These child support sums are a lot. $1000/per child? I'm a child of divorce and I'm a stepmom. I don't mean to talk horribly about the dead, but it seems like she was very much in it for the money.

  • @TiffieBabie69

I think it was the daughter cuz why would she say it was a Crime scene Before they even found the body

  • @sallyh.6362

The documentary by her son was so compelling. He knows who did it… poor kid. When he made that speech at her tribute near the end where he tells her he’s going to be OK.. 😪

  • @kalel311superman9

a lot of Barbaras and Madison lives on Madison Beach, coincidence i guess, control freaks are scary, those people are better off being single, it's never a good time for parents to tell a child that they are getting divorced, my aunt and uncle have been divorced for years now and they can't stand each other and my cousins really don't have a relationship with their dad.

  • @sallyh.6362

That was a great documentary. I stayed up all night. I cried.

  • @JennyLynn0001

Just my opinion… and not saying that the father was right… but with the way Ally was apparently acting towards her mother when she returned to her… sounds like she might have gotten her door taken away because she had a temper and slammed it a lot… that's why I got my door taken away as a teenager anyway…

  • @katykelley392

Leaving this video my assumption is the husband did it and the daughter was either a witness that wanted to protect her dad or she was a participant.

  • @stephanieniles6692

Why is she pronouncing “Documentary” like that… stop trying to sound boujee 🤦‍♀️

  • @bloodyneptune

You'd think after the first time he lost because he didn't have proof of his claims, he'd stop filing motions without proof. But somehow he did it twice, then added 'claims with proof I'm lying' to a third

  • @plspriska

My parents never fought. Never raised their voices. I, as a result, cannot deal at all with people raising their voices. It terrifies me. So…. It seems either way can cause issues.

  • @rosalynneroastingtime

Now I don't have experience with child support so I may be naive on this. Isn't child support reaply high I always hear how much people have to pay, and if I had to pay then I wouldnt have money left over. My mom never went after my sperm doner for child support, because she wanted him fully out of my life. He was not a great guy, but I always find it difficult for the guys to support themselves with how much they have to pay.

  • @bt4582

I am SO happy that you have covered this case. I saw the HBO special a few years ago and have always hoped that this murder would be solved one day! I still think it is someone that the father hired (just seems like too many convenient coincidences) but I am saying this before watching your video so will see what you think!
