On what seemed to be a routine Tuesday evening for the Clancy family, tragedy struck. Lindsay, a seemingly ordinary 32-year-old mother of three, was left alone with her children as her husband, Patrick, went out to pick up dinner. Little did he know, he would return home to a nightmare.
Authorities were called to the Clancy’s residence just after 6:00 p.m. and were met with a grisly scene. Three young children, Cor, Dawson, and 8-month-old Callen, lay unconscious with clear signs of severe physical trauma. Despite their best efforts, only Callen managed to survive the night, but his fight for life would soon come to a tragic end in a Boston hospital just days later.
The investigation took a dark turn when Lindsay was discovered outside the house, having cut her wrists and leapt from a second-story window. As details unraveled, it became evident that this was not a random act of violence, but a calculated and heinous crime. Lindsay Clancy was charged with the murder of her own children, sending shockwaves through the community and leaving even seasoned crime investigators questioning what could drive a mother to commit such unspeakable acts.

Oh God please take care of these sweet babies. Be with their dad as he is living a nightmare! Please lift the babies high and hold them tight. And please be with their mommy, as she was having a mental breakdown, that she tried so hard to get help with. I'll never understand how any mother, mental issues or not, could ever lay their hands on their child, let alone take the air they breath away! Amen🙏🏼🥺💔

Andrea yates is a similar crase from 2001…. The doctors had actually told her husband that she shouldn't have any more children because her postpartum psychosis was so bad and they went on to have a couple more kids after that…. They were deeply religious and he moved her to a trailer in the middle of nowhere and isolated her where she was left home alone with these kids all the time. She had actually filled up the bathtub multiple times before the day she actually drowned them. I'm not making excuses. These people are messed up and their actions are diabolical. All I'm saying is that sometimes there are signs and sometimes there are things that in hindsight should have been done to help before something like this happens

If you're going to tell a story, please be accurate. This was NOT a normal night at their home, she had been struggling with mental health issues and sent him off to pick up food for this reason, she should never have been left alone with the children, in fact she should have been hospitalized!!!

POSTPARTUM DEPRESSION AND POSTPARTUM PSYCHOSIS IS REAL!!! Awareness of these conditions needs to be normalized on talking about them and not treated as taboo or hushed and swept under the rug because it makes people feel some type of way. Educating everyone in regards to these conditions can and will help save lives. Its nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed about, and the more society gives women that complex the more horrifying acts and death/murder/suicides will continue sadly.

This story is unimaginable. I have followed it, just as I did with the Chris Watts case. Wanting to get rid of your 2 older babies so that you can treat the baby as if hewas your only one, which was In her journal speaks volumes. As you always say "make it make sense". She didn't jump from the window, she glided down. A lot of killers are claiming "I snapped", I was having "postpartum depression ". I get that. Was Chad Doerman going through the same thing? He didn't give birth to the boys but was he feeling overwhelmed? And why was the Chris Watts story so publicized and not Chad Doreman? It's the same crime. But we hear nothing about him. Chris Watts was deemed a monster, but so is she, and Chad. How does this Country decide who to hate and who to blame? What pill to blame? 1971 John List killed his mother, his wife and his 3 children. Turned the AC on, (to help the smell of death). and walked away to start a new life. but this woman did what she did and even though she is now paralyzed and won't ever walk again, she needs to be held accountable. You just don't strangle 3 babies, with a bungee cord , thats ludicrous. 3 humans perished. And you don't line up 3 babies and shoot them as Chad did. 3 more humans. I do believe, and this is off the wall, but in my Grandmother's time, (1901-1993), she drank Coca -Cola, and at that time cocaine was in that. My mother (so called) had me in 1958. She was absent in my life, she was there, but not present. I left home at 15. I always wonder if the cocaine was handed down. That was then. I really don't think it would linger that long, but I do try understand why people are killing their babies . Just walk away. Maybe women feel empowered. Saying shit like " I will take the kids and leave, and I will take you for everything you have". It's not a reason, but it is something to look into. If you are with a man, or woman, just get yourself out. Don't play hero and do the BS ultimatum, just go, or let them go. If you try to keep someone in a relationship that doesn't want to be there, don't threaten them with the kids or the house, apparently they don't want to be with you. "I will take the kids and everything you have" is ludicrous. Just my opinion. More women get killed by trying to stay in a relationship that is totally "Over"..

Im so mentally confused. I was 100% empathetic for her at first. Post partum psychosis is no joke and can make the best mother lose it. Dang hormones. Its awful
BUT then she was researching stuff on how to kill and how far away the resteraunt was etc.. i dont have any education on this comdition to know if its more sudden (like they snapped) or if it could indeed be so bad they plan the stuff out ???
