So I've heard of this terrible story before, to my understanding chris was meeting someone online that was going to buy either tires or stereo when the evil gang found them. It was i believe on craigslist

I live 5 minutes from this horrible horrible tragedy I’ve herd for years the girlfriend of the guy was at that house when all that went down that’s just the streets talking but sometimes the streets hear the truth she should have got some kind of charge for lien about seeing him if she lied about that she’s gonna lie about anything

Imagine for a minute the media coverage and rioting and protests if this was 5 white boys torturing kidnapping raping and killing 2 black people. Im a liberal and I like to believe that i don't judge on skin color but this case was a hate crime and was😞 kept quiet on purpose.may God have mercy on them.

This story is absolutely heartbreaking. I live near Knoxville. I remember when it happened its all everyone was talking about. I felt so awful for their parents. I couldn't even imagine the pain of losing a child let alone but to lose a child the way they were killed is truly devastating.

I am a corrections Officer and I myself get angry at the fact that people like this come to prison and are treated like children getting free health care, tablets with internet the ability to get visits from relatives and it's now to the point where they can assault an officer and we can't do anything about it. Thank you Liberals for turning prisons into daycare centers

i live about 30 miles from where this happened. I did not know Cris but i knew who he was from him playing baseball for his high school. i was the team photographer of an opposing team he played against. A couple of years after this i ran into Channon's father while out shopping with my wife and daughter. As soon as i seen him and recognized him i gave my daughter one of the biggest hugs i think i ever gave here in my life. i could not imagine what torture this man went through.

I lived in oak Ridge tn when this occurred and I've always had a feeling they hated these kids because they were white and well off I think it was a hate crime and revenge killing and it makes me sick to my stomach everytime I hear about it

I read in an article somewhere that it was a hate crime. And regardless, it's just so sad that the amount of torture and pain inflicted on these two people makes me believe that it's true.

This happened in my hometown, so heartbreaking 💔 two beautiful souls gone too soon, it makes me sick that the ones involved are still breathing, I hope they never see the light of day again! This one hurts my heart

I feel for their parents and I’m from Tennessee and I know exactly what that daddy wants to say and it would piss a lot of people off and I would probably get banned from YouTube.This was the worst of the worst.

@annieelise this was such a horrific crime. Unfortunately, I was very privy to it from the department I worked at and the position I held at the time it took place. We also had several of these individuals in our facility pre-trial. None of these criminals had any remorse… PERIOD. I also spoke with a female inmate who was in the same cell at another facility. NO REMORSE. These evil individuals are of the devil. Things that weren't told would make you physically sick. God Bless these beautiful young people and their families. Many prayers still for the families.

I'm so sorry for that family but that father sounds very ignorant when talking about prison and I'm willing to bet he's racist. I understand the anger towards the the killers, but to say prison is a "hotel" and has a "beautiful landscape" is just so ignorant. I've has family members in prison and they lived in fear, and the free healthcare is a joke (I knew someone who suffered a stroke in prison and they ignored his plea to see a doctor for hours). You're treated like an animal. Not to say these guys didn't deserve it but prison is far from a nice hotel.
